Glued lip and paw

Charlie here, I have a bad cut on my paw and a small one on my lip. Last night was the last straw for that black and white stray who kept coming in my yard. Mom knows that lately we have been having words back and forth and those aren't quiet words.

Dad heard the glass break around 12:30 am and all heck broke loose! Of course he didn't check to see if any critters got in the house. Don't worry dad, I will take care of them or I'll send my side kick Petey in to deal with them.

Mom was downstairs eating her Cheerios and I came up to her limping. She got so upset and checked my paw. I got a little blood on her and gave her my I'm sorry face. She had dad look at it because he is a nurse. So, they went to work and I was just laying low trying to keep my paw safe.

2 hours later mom comes home, scoops me up and takes me to the V.E.T.! Ugh, I hate that place. I howled the whole way there and mom said that even though I am loud, these howls sounded like the opera! The vet glued my lip and my paw. What is this glue stuff? I got a shot of antibiotic stuff. She also weighed me and I gained a pound since the last visit a year ago. I have been building my muscles to take on that stray!

Mom took me home and gave me 2 catmint leaves a kiss and she went back to work. Petey checked me out to make sure the V.E.T. was nice to me. What he doesn't know is that the both of us go next week to get our annual checkup. He won't be happy!

So for now I am going to take it easy and dream of another way to put that stray in his place.

I wanted to say thank you to everyone for the wonderful birthday wishes. You all are such wonderful friends and I am going to sound mushy but I am grateful to be your pal!

I had 5 catmint leaves from my hoomin sisfur and she sang to me also. She kept singing and singing!

Now I think I'll go and take a nap. This birthday stuff is so much fun but I need my beauty sleep!

Little Miss Elle Got Me!

Okay, okay, I admit I have been curious lately with the little hoomin in our house. I even let her pet me the other day. But she still freaks me out.

So, a big box came and mom opened it. Some new lightweight stroller. I wish it were for me. So as mom was opening up the stroller, I was more interested in the box. It was leaning on the chair. I knocked it over and prepared to sneak into it. Little did I know LME (Little Miss Elle) was right behind me. My tail was tickling her face and before you know it, she grabbed my tail. Well, that sent me flying! I jumped about 5 feet into the air and took off like a rocket.

Mom and dad laughed. I DO NOT think it was so funny. Thank goodness they didn't catch it on video. I have a rep to protect!

My 5th Birthday

Well, even though we have so much going on right now we would never forget the Charliemeister's birthday!!!!!! He is the big 5 today! 5 years ago Charlie came into this world ready to take it on! He is still the softest, cutest spotted cat I know. Each year he mellows a snitch but still loves to talk!

We love you very much Charlie and want you to know that with the baby coming in a few weeks we know you will be a great buddy and keep a good eye on her!

Barf: My Work of Art

I got to tell you what I did last night!

Mom came home from work and was sitting in the den looking over the mail. As she does this every night, we entertain her with our antics. Except....... this time I just walked by barffed up a huge pile of dry food, looked at her and walked away. Like, I got your mail right here lady!

And, I did it on the rug. She just said oh Charlie you couldn't have picked the hardwood floor, could you?!?!?!? It was nice and disgusting. It grosses dad out the most. He doesn't mind cleaning our litter boxes, but barf is something he can't stand. So mom gets out the paper towels and the Spot Bot machine and goes to town on my work of art. But that wasn't until dad got home and mom let him see it! See she is just as nuts as I am!

Happy Birthday Mon!

I would like to shout out a Happy Birthday to Bob Marley. Today is his birthday so listen to his song on my page and let's all get together and put our paws inthe air!

I survived the V-E-T!

I had my yearly check up last Friday. Mom scheduled it on her day off, why I don't know. Who would want to go there?!?!?

So, before she even started the car I started my howling! She called Gandma and laughed. I got louder and louder. If she even tried to quiet me down I howled as loud as I could. So what does she do? Put music on. She said it sounded like I was singing along. NOT!

She walks in with me in the carrier howling away and the ceilings are high so it echoed. 5 minutes later and I am being pulled out and onto the scale. I gained a pound. Macho me weighs 11 pounds. Not bad.

The so called doctor came in to check me out. She said I was handsome and all that. Yeah I know. Then she had the audacity to show me around to everyone there. I was not happy but I put on my best annoyed face. She listened to my heart and breathing. It should have had some growls in it. 2 shots later and I was back in the carrier. Mom said I was very brave during the shots. I am macho at some times you know.

We drove home with a lighter meow session and then I was so glad to be home. Petey sniffed me over and was happy to see me. The next day I slept all day, the shots tired me out. Now I am back to my goofy self and excited because the Christmas tree is in the sunroom. If I could just go out there to check it out. Mom said it would be in the house this weekend. Doesn't she know I can't wait that long?

Nip Stealer

Sup dudes!

Um, what was I going to say? Oh yeah, mom has my catmint plant on the deck during the warmer months. Well every day almost, this stinkin' cat comes by to get a whif of my nip! I howl and hiss and puff up like a mad man. Mom says I am swearing in cat language and that it isn't nice. I say tough noogies, that is MY nip!!!!!!!

So, thankfully the summer is over and she will bring the nip plant to work. Then I have to be very good every day because she will bring me home a leaf or two. And now she is saying that Santa guy is watching. Oh pulease. I always get good stuff no matter how I act. I can melt mom and dad like that! (tries to snap his paws)

So, if you are out there Mr. weird neighborhood nip stealer, I have my eyes on you.

Hello everybody!

Put your paws in the air and dance like you don't care!!! I am celebrating my 4th birthday today! So far I have had some serious nip and have been wrestling with my pal Petey.

Mom and dad are planning on some fun activities today! I will update you later. Now I have my eye on a birdie outside and I am stretching out in the sunroom!

Jumpin' Crazy Cats!

Okay, sorry it has been a while since I wrote. My birthday party was a blast and I really had too much nip.

It has been a great summer and there is lots to tell. I am the sunroom spy. Mom says that I am a very good protector cat. You see, we have this big white macho cat that roams the neighborhood and likes to drive us indoor cats nuts! He has the audacity to walk on my deck and sniff the new catmint plant that mom bought just for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay so Chloe gets some too, but can you believe it???? So, being the stud that I am, I get all poofed out and literally throw myself at the sunroom window. Hey, it isn't the most brilliant thing but it does the job. I scared that fuzz bucket out of my yard. Mom and dad laughed but told me I would have to figure out a way to replace the screen when it is time from my attack jumps.

Does anyone know how to make some quick cash?
