Arrival Story:
My boyfriend and I adopted him from ARF (Animal Rescue Force). We already had one cat, Cleo, who was a year old then. We wanted a playmate for her and a cat my boyfriend could call his own--Cleo is my cat, really. So we went to ARF and from the minute we held him he looked at us and started purring like crazy. The lady said he was the friendliest cat in the litter and she wasn't wrong. We took him home to a hissy, swipey meeting with our resident cat, Cleo, but they were BFF within 3 days, a feat I think only a cat like Chief could accomplish.
So cute, first time I took him to the vet the vet said she couldnt' get a heartbeat on him b/c of all the purring!
Bio:
This cat charms everyone, including my cat-hating father. He LOVES to be held and cuddled. I can pick him up, flip him over my shoulder, hold him upside down and squeeze him with no complaints. He loves to head-butt people. He actually likes playing in water, unusual for a cat. I've never once heard him hiss and he's never raised a paw in anger--he's a peace-loving cat. =) Not only is he friendly with people he's good with dogs and other cats. He loves to race around the house and jump and get into wrestling matches with Cleo. He's curious and I always find him in the wierdest places. Chief is the epitome of dumb and loveable.
