Left alone...AGAIN!!

Mommy spent all day yesterday with Apollo and me. I loved it because we got to sleep on her bed later than we usually do, and she didn't do that thing where she runs around the apartment and yells something about being late, whatever that is.
Today was different. She let us sleep late on her bed and hung out with us in her pajamas while she looked at the big box with the moving things on it. Then, sometime in the afternoon she did that thing that I don't understand. She runs around and goes from being a big hairless cat to being something else. She runs around like I do, going from room to room. And she says things like, "Josie, where are my keys?" and "Apollo, please don't get hair on my pants!". I don't get it.
And the worst part of all...SHE DOESN'T FEED US BEFORE SHE GOES OUT THE FORBIDDEN DOOR! That's another thing, what's behind that door? All I know is there are a lot of steps out there. And sometimes it's really hot, sometimes it's really cold. I'll find out someday, it must be interesting if mommy doesn't want me or Apollo to go there.
Anyway, back to my story. So there I am with an empty belly and just Apollo to talk to. I decide to take a nap and after a while I hear noises on the other side of the forbidden door. Is it mommy, coming to feed us? It's not mommy, just some really loud talking person. I think there must be more funny sounding hairless cats living somewhere on the other side of that door, but I don't know.
So it's not mommy. I tried to go back to my catnaps, but the loud noises kept coming. I decided to go hide.
Then alas mommy gets home...late! She says she's been at something called work, and then went to someone's place called Friday's. She says it's a bar, but I don't even know what that is. All I know is she smells like something good. I like chewing on her fingers when she's been at the bar.
I'm not really sure as to what "work" is. She goes some place dressed in a shirt and tie (which her ties are fun to play with too!), and comes home smelling like a variety of foods. I like that smell too.
So, mommy's home and she's watching that box that has other hairless cats on it. Occasionally we watch something called "Animal Planet" which has real cats on it. I like that, but I find the box confusing as the things on it seem to walk out of the box, but I have no idea where they go. She seems to like it but I have to wonder how much. Sometimes she gets mad at it and yells at the box.Ssometimes she really yells but in a good way. Espacially during the spring and summer. During those time periods she's apt to yell something like "HOME RUN!!" Whatever that is.
Oh, well mommy keeps looking over here and yelling at me to stop walking on the keyboard. Well, in that case dsoifjkjfsijfriolfjnjdfkdhf. There, I walked on the keyboard. Hee, hee mommy!
