Oh, NO!

When mommie went out this morning to feed the outside kitties, the big black one CAME IN THE DOOR!!! Mommie was so scared and I was too! I came around the corner and there was a BIG BLACK TOM CAT hissing at me!! While she was trying to get Bartholomew into the bathroom, I sneaked upstairs and hid under the dresser way back in the corner. The black cat jumped and jumped at the window trying to get out and mommie was afraid to open the door in case I ran out. I could hear mommie yelling at the black cat and then for me. She couldn't find me, I was hidden so well. Then the yelling got louder. She couldn't find the black cat, either! She looked all over the house and finally found him under the end table. She found me, too and decided that I would stay put so she took the screen off the window and opened it and tried to shoo the cat out with the broom. It came out and went to another window but mommie got it over to the open one and it jumped out. When everything was quiet again, I crept down the stairs. Bartholomew was lying in his usual spot by the window so I knew everything was OK but mommie needs to find another way to feed those cats from now on! This was too scary!

Help! Bartholomew's After Me!

Well, the groomer lady came to our house today. mommie tricked me with the laser light and I got caught and taken out to get my nails trimmed, ears and eyes cleaned and then I got my rear clipped! It was all very scarey but when I got back into the house, there was a new terror waiting... Bartholomew started stalking me and caught me under the bed and started fighting me! Mommie has had to yell at him a lot to quit trying to fight me but he keeps stalking me everywhere I go. I'm now dictating this from under the dresser trying to stay clear until he calms down.

Update: When mommie got home from the store, she found that Bartholomew had hacked up a hairball and the rest of his dinner on mommie's clean sheets! She wasn't too happy at having to do laundry again. Anyway, he's calmed down now and I can come out of hiding.

Scary Outside!

I was scared when mommie tried to catch me. I thought she was going to brush me so I ran and hid in my house but she caught me there and took me to the bedroom. She put some straps around my chest and neck and hooked up another line to that and picked me up. Then she opened the big door to the outside and took me out. I don't mind telling you I was SCARED!!! I cried when she put me down on the porch so she picked me up again and took me down the driveway all the way to the street! When she put me down in the grass I tried to run under some sticky bushes but the line attached to those straps kept stopping me. I cried really loud and managed to get partway under the sticky bushes so mommie reached under the bushes and grabbed me and got her arm scratched in the process. Humph! Serves her right for taking me out in the big scary world. I was relieved to get back in the nice safe house. Note to mommie: I DON'T LIKE OUTSIDE!

Racin' and Wrestlin'

I've been practicing for the big kitty race and wrestling match. Mommie says I'll win the race because I can go really fast! I have my own track through the living room, the kitchen, the bathroom, and the bedroom. Sometimes I go three times around without stopping! Then I rest for a few minutes and start again. Mommie just shakes her head and step-brother hides because he knows that when I stop, I'll find him and jump on him and wrestle. Training can be hard work.

The awful day

One day when my mom was home in the daytime, she caught me and put me in my carrier. I was really scared because then she usually puts me in the car and takes me to the vet. This was worse! She took me out to a trailer in front of our house and a lady with big scarey clippers started to shave my beautiful fur off! She didn't stop until all the fur on my body was gone! Mom kept telling me it was for my own good because I had mats all over and she couldn't get them out. Now all that's left of my beautiful fur is on my tail and head. I was so embarrased that I went and hid under the dresser. The minute I came out to eat, there my mom was with a camera. She shows my pictures to all her friends. So embarrasing!

Ninja Kitty

I have been having a great time lately playing with my step-brother Bart. He doesn't really want to play but I make him by jumping off the bed and biting his neck. Then he chases me and I chase him back. Mom doesn't seem to mind except for when it's dark outside. Then she yells.
