Arrival Story:
Sissy came into the clinic I work at on deaths door. Very small barely weighing a pound , hypothermic and full of parasites .. including an acuterebra ( a fly parasite like a maggot) We surgically removed the parasite wormed her , tested her for feline luekemia and feline aids ( which was negative thank god) and force fed her since she refused to eat on her own. I took her home over the weekend to watch her and continue to nurse her to health so she could be adopted out and we fell in love with her. My siamese Ozzie fell in love with her right from the start. I couldnt bare to part with her so the rest is history. We ( the Veterinarian I work with and I) thought she was barely a month old because of her weight but found out later she was actually 2 months old at the time. Her mom a feral cat gave birth to 5 kittens under a clients hot tub. The client braught her in because she couldnt keep her and knew she needed extra care. Her momma and a brother still live where they were found but fortunately have been neutered and are well fed. Three of the other kittens were rescued also and live in very good homes.

Bio:
Sissy crossed over the rainbow bridge the second week of March 2007. She was only 22 mos old when she left us. It was a sudden death ... she had no previous symptons or signs of heart problems.. but obviously something was there. Cardiomyopathy took her away from us. Im sure she is playing with all of her buddies watching over us and giving me her sweet little purr and kitty kisses from heaven. Thank you for all of your head butts and purrs... it meant alot to us.... Mom (Cindy) Levi Blue & Ozzie .. her most favorite big brother.
