Arrival Story:
Coffee was a shelter cat at the animal shelter where I volunteer. Because she has a history of bladder stones, she was going to be a difficult placement. When my resident cat (breed unknown) started to stalk me, I knew it was time to find a companion. Eli, the resident cat, had special diet needs so I decided I could handle two cats with special diets.
Bio:
Coffee is a big girl. Her tabby circles ring completely around her body. She is the purfect color of coffee with light cream. She believes she is the only cat in the WHOLE world who should live in the house. Coffee is front declawed (not me...it was her first humans who did it). She started boxing Eli on the head anytime he was within reach. At first Eli would MEOW in protest, but soon realized that when Coffee swatted him it didn't hurt. He would just stand there and take it. Coffee quickly established herself as top cat.
Coffee makes sure that everyone gets a chance to refresh their memory of her scent...every day! She is quite fond of having her tail scratched and will raise her rump to make sure you scratch it good and get a good view/smell of her assets! She cha-cha's from pure enjoyment of the tail scratch.
Coffee has learned to be a great foster mom. She helped foster a young orange tabby until we found a home for him. Lately her Big Sister skills have been put to use with our new addition to the home, Pandora.
