Il mio bel moretto has tagged me and I am now supposed to write down the five things I want/wish for Yule.

To all my dearest friends...

I thought I would say hello to all my friends, who stood by me during "you know what"...
Thanks ever so much for the love and support, not to mention the friendship you have shown me during this difficult time.
Myself, Bastian, Marty and Trigger are thankful to have such amazing friends, although we wish to inform you that we will no longer be as active and involved in Catster (and Dogster) as we were before.
Our Meowmy has not decided yet whether to keep us on this site or not, but instead of deleting our pages, she chose to let us stay, even if we will not be as enthusiastic as we used to be, and therefore we will be keeping a rather low profile.
The only reason why Meowmy has not deleted our pages is you, the kitties who we love so much and that would be disappointed and upset not to see us again.
Because we will not be too involved, should anyone wish to keep a closer contact with us, they can always e-mail us privately or check any of our other spaces on the internet.
Thanks to Barney and her lovely, adorable Meowmy: you are amazing!
Thanks also to my "bel moretto's" Meowmy, for posting the messages from the other kitties and keeping us daily informed on the moods and feelings of our Catster friends.
And a big thank you also to Simon and Leo's Meowmies, who cared so much about Bastian, as well as Sebastian's Meowmy and Jason's Dad: they are very special friends to my little brother.
But really, I should extend my gratitude to all the cats and their families, because what they did for us was incredibly generous and considerate.
We will never be able to thank you enough!

THANK YOU, ANONYMOUS ROSETTE GIVER!

This morning, Meowmy put Bastian and myself in to our carriers and drove us to vet.
But the good thing was that the nice lady vet told Meowmy I did not need to be vaccinated this year (unlike Bastian, who also got microchipped!).

The nicest thing that happened to me was to see that I got TWO anonymous Rosette on my page.
Now, I do not know who this very generous kitty might be, but surely it is wonderful to feel loved. I wish I could return the gift, though...

Purring for Peace

My whole Family and I are thinking about this particular day.
But, as we remember the innocent lives lost on that tragic September 11, we also want to remember all those who - even at this very moment - are witnessing death through senseless violence, all over the globe. Let us not forget the wars raging in so many different areas of our planet and the sorrow that they bring. No death is more important than another, as the humans (and animals indeed) are all equals in our hearts and before Mother Nature.

War is not the answer... ever!
Peace is possible only if every one understands the value and sanctity of life.
Purring for peace and for some common sense to
enrich the minds of humans.

There is way too much death in the world, and even if I am only a kitty, I have my opinions. Yes, I do!

June 1st: My 5th Birthday!

Wow!
Today's my Birthday and the celebrations have been simply awesome.
Meowmy invited over her friends Helene and Tuula, with Henrik, who's Helene's three-year-old son.
Trigger, Marty and Bastian were also here.
Meowmy set up a table in the garden and then the guests arrived. They brought presents too!
I got two mice to play with, a bouncing ball and most of all, a lovely, stylish pink collar!
I had a beautiful cake, with five candles to blow. The cake eventually ended up forgotten on the ground, so Trigger ate it. But it's OK with me, as I'm watching my figure, and it would have been just too much for me to eat.
Next week, it will be Bastian's first Birthday and we're going to have another party.
Anyway, I had just the best Birthday ever. Pity my Nana was not here: maybe next year she'll celebrate it with all of us.

Remembering my sweet Grandad...

Today, my beloved Grandad would have been 84 years old.
Sadly, he is no longer with us and I was the last one to see him alive, on that sad and cold November morning.
He loved me very much, like no other cat he had ever met; I thought he was very sweet and kind, let him pet me and ever purred at him.
I was sent to Mum two months before the tragedy, as a gift from our Goddess; I wish I had spent more time with my Grandad, we would have had so much fun together, I am sure.
I know my Mummy and Nana miss him every day and so do I.
Happy Birthday, Grandad Brizio! You are watching over us from heaven, but we miss you so. Life will never be the same without you.
