My Life As A Cat

I've been meaning to write for such a long time now, but my mommy says there aren't enough hours in the day to do everything. I'm sneaking in this 1st entry while no one is looking! MEOWHAHAHAHA. I have adjusted very well these last few years as a landlubber (but oh how I loved the life of a Sailboat Cat!) I do miss the wind in my hair and the spray of the water on me when we would go for a sail (of course, I always had my lifejacket and tether on). When we left the boat, mommy made sure that we moved to a place with a nice big patio for me to lounge on and watch the birds. Mommy also made sure I had a playmate and brought home my sweet little sister, Phoebe. Phoebe loves to wash me and we nap together, too. Of course, it wasn't love at first sight for us but we have grown accustomed to one another and hate to be apart now! Then 2 years ago, mommy had a case of temporary insanity and brought home that little black cannon ball, Brutus. Phoebe acts as though she's terrified of him but I don't let him get to me! When he starts bouncing toward me (think of Tigger) I just sit there, put a paw up and show him who really is boss. He may be bigger than me, but I'm a whole lot wiser!
