Ruling the palace

New Year's Eve

What a year this has been. I have been greatly inconvenienced by my human deciding to renovate the palace under my very toes.

This is something that is most unacceptable as it disrupted my daily routine and caused me significant inconvenience.

On the positive side, it has resulted in me acquiring my very own bedroom with an appropriately soft quilted bed and cover to assist in relaxing me after a hard day lying in the sun and dreaming of mice and birdies.

But this could have been achieved without the inconvenience I suffered. I am sure of this.

Having now acquired my own throne room, I am now considering what else I require to improve my level of comfort.

Certainly, I must impress upon the human my need to NOT have any further visits from that obsessed Border Collie Jaay.

While I am sure you all would agree that being adored is the right of every cat, especially every Russian Blue cat, to be adored so blatantly by a DOG is quite beyond the pale.

I think I need another nap now to consider the scope of my potential needs for the year ahead.
