"Well, I was helping Mom fold the laundry, then I got to playing around, now I think I'll just take a kitty nap right here! (This was the last picture that we took of Blue...)"
Coloration: Blue Point
Likes: Being anywhere I am. When he slept, he had to be touching some part of me.
Pet-Peeves: Not being able to find me, having another cat on my lap, being ignored.
Favorite Toy: He played with everything; bits of paper, twist ties, paper bag balls, balls with bells inside of them, catnip, string being swung back & forth for him to jump at.
Favorite Nap Spot: On my lap. If I was sleeping, right beside me while touching some part of me.
Favorite Food: Canned cat food, kitten food.
Skills: Jumping very high, sleeping in strange positions (before he became so attached to me).
Dwells:
indoors
Arrival Story: He was a feral cat. One of my neices or nephew (I forget which) caught him for me, as they knew that I had been wanting a Blue Point Siamese. He was about 6 weeks old when they caught him. He was pretty wild, but with a lot of patience on my part, he was "tame" within a week. Once my husband and I were able to hold him his whole personality changed. He was the most adorable kitten I had ever seen. He was SO affectionate, especially towards me. He followed me everywhere that I went. He only lived with us for about a month. He was becoming more affectionate every day. And he was becoming more playful with each passing day. Then tragedy struck. It was a Sunday afternoon, and I was tired, so I decided to go take a nap on our bed. When I layed down there were no cats on our bed. I took a short nap and then got up. After a few minutes, I asked my husband where Blue was. It was too quiet, he wasn't terrorizing anything in the house, so he MUST have been asleep somewhere. We searched the entire house. Then my husband called me into the bedroom. He said, "I found Blue, and he's dead!" I immediately burst into tears. My husband put the pieces together for me. While I had been napping, Blue had crawled under the covers and layed down next to me. Remember how I said that he always liked to be touching me? Well, he must have put his face so close to my body that he was smothered. I was heartsick about the tragedy for months. He was such a special kitty to me. There will never be another cat like him. Rest in peace my Little Blue Boy. Momma grieves for you, but I know that after you crossed the Rainbow Bridge, there were a lot of other cats and kittens to play with. I will see you again someday, and you can sit on my lap all that you want!

I have been tagged in the Halloween Tag Game by my dad Buddy, so here goes:
I am to name five favorite things I have about Halloween, and chose six friends to tag:
1. I didn't live long enough on Earth to have Halloween, so all of my
Halloweens have been at the Bridge. I like the pumpkin pies that
my sisfur Muffy makes out of the Halloween pumpkin after it gets
carved.
2. I like the cool Autumn breeze at night.
3. I like to go Trick or Treating in my Halloween Costume.
4. I get to have a caramel apple after we go Trick or Treating.
Hello fur faces! It's been a long time since I updated this diary....and a lot of things have happened! I've been spending time with Squeak ofur at his house this summer, and we get to play down by their private dock. We have fun swimming there. We also catch fish (and most are big enough to eat!) and frogs, and we play with them in the water. Squeak's Dad Gato, and my dad (Buddy) each have a sailboat and a speed boat. Auntie Autumn and Uncle Gato and my mom and dad wanted to throw a big sailing pawty for the end of summer, so they had the pawty last night.
I am not furry good at telling stories, but I will try and tell you a little bit about the sailing pawty.
END OF SUMMER SAILING PAWTY
All cats and all dogs met at 6:00 p.m. Catster Time sharp at Uncle Gato's private dock in his back yard. Efurrybody arrived on time and with a smile on their face. Uncle Gato had a previous engagement to go to, so he would be running a little late. Dad decided to take the first bunch of fur babies out on his boat, then when Uncle Gato arrived, he could bring the rest of the ones interested in a sailboat ride. It was just going to be a short trip around the lake, but the lake up here in Heaven is gigantic, so efurryone was going to have a nice long ride. I met a kitten named Amar last night. Amar hung out with Squeak and I near the wheel where Dad steered the boat. Dad let each of us take a turn steering the sail boat...and wowzerooni! It was funtabulous! Efurryone aboard was either meowing or enjoying the scenery and taking pictures.
Purrty soon we heard Uncle Gato and Aunt Autumn's voices ofur the boat's radio. Dad told them our location so that they could sail out to join us. They brought the other half of the pawty goers out to where we had waited for them near the middle of the clear blue lake.
As soon as the other sailboat was alongside of us, we both headed north to the northern shore of the lake. Uncle Gato fired up the grill on his boat to cook some of the delicasies that were fare that day for his guests, and himself. Uncle Gato was starved as usual! Anyone that knows my Uncle knows that he can eat large amounts of food at any given time of the day or night! My dad is no slouch in the food department either....he LOVES my momma's cooking! MOL! While the grill was heating up, efurryone grabbed a pawrdner and started dancing. The following song was playing on the ship's system:
Sailing - Christopher Cross
Well, it's not far down to paradise, at least it's not for me
And if the wind is right you can sail away and find tranquility
Oh, the canvas can do miracles, just you wait and see
Believe me
It's not far to never-never land, no reason to pretend
And if the wind is right you can find the joy of innocence again
Oh, the canvas can do miracles, just you wait and see
Believe me
CHORUS:
Sailing takes me away to where I've always heard it could be
Just a dream and the wind to carry me
And soon I will be free
Fantasy, it gets the best of me
When I'm sailing
All caught up in the reverie, every word is a symphony
Won't you believe me?
CHORUS
Well it's not far back to sanity, at least it's not for me
And if the wind is right you can sail away and find serenity
Oh, the canvas can do miracles, just you wait and see
Believe me

Isn't that the purrfect song to play while sailing with your furiends? We thought so! Raven & Cocoa, Uncle Gato & Aunt Autumn, Mom & Dad, Spike & Critter, Mei Ling & Taz, and Cleo and Tazi were all dancing to the music while Amar, and Squeak and I sang along. Efurryone had a great time....the last thing I remember was lying down on the ship's bed, being VERY sleepy, and Mom singing to me while Dad tucked me in. It was a purrfect end to a wonderfur day....
There are various places within which a cat may be
buried. We are thinking now of a tabby cat, a
striped cat, whose coat was like watered silk, and
who, so far as we are aware, never entertained a
mean or an unworthy thought. This cat is buried
beneath a cherry tree, under four feet of garden
loam, and at its proper season the cherry strews
petals on the green lawn of his grave. Beneath a
cherry tree, or an apple, or any flowering shrub
of the garden, is an excellent place to bury a
good cat. For beneath such trees, such shrubs, he
slept in the drowsy summer, or chased bees, or
lifted head to challenge some winged intruder.
These are good places, in life or in death.
For if the cat be well remembered, if sometimes he
leaps through your dreams actual as in life, eyes
kindling, questing, asking, laughing, begging, it
matters not at all where that cat sleeps at long
and at last. On a hill where the wind is unrebuked
and the trees are roaring, or beside a stream he
knew in kittenhood, or somewhere in the flatness
of a pasture land, where the most exhilarating
moles burrow. It is all one to the cat, and all
one to you, and nothing is gained, and nothing
lost -- if memory lives. But there is one best
place to bury a cat. One place that is best of
all.
If you bury him in this spot, the secret of which
you must already have guessed, he will come to you
when you call -- come to you over the grim, dim
frontiers of death, and down the well-remembered
path, and to your side again. And though you call
a dozen living cats, they shall not hiss at him,
nor resent his coming, for he is yours and he
belongs there.
People may scoff at you, who see no lightest blade
of grass bent by his footfall, who hear no mew
pitched too fine for mere audition, people who may
never really have had a cat. Smile at them then,
for you shall know something that is hidden from
them, and which is well worth the knowing.
The one best place to bury a good cat is in the
heart of his owner.

My meowmie whole heartedly agrees! In fact, that is where she buried me...
