The Saga of Solo

I have about had it with mom!

She just doesn't get it...I mean take this morning. I was laying on the futon, when she comes in and says.."well someone sure is lazy this morning". I mean really!!!! She just does not realize the duties I have through the night. Last night was a perfect example, off she goes to that dark room to lay down leaving me to monitor and report to her all night long!!! As I do my duty and take care of the house I stop in to report to mom. It is never ending let me tell you. For example:
Me: *poke,poke* Mom there is a bunny in the yard
Me: *poke,poke* Mom...bunny left
Me:*poke,poke* butt is itchy..could you scratch it? Right there.Yup that got it.
Me:*Poke,Poke*We are all out of crunchies
Me:*poke,poke*okay now face needs a scratch..not my eye...there, yes that's better.
Me:*poke,poke*Edgarina pointed out there is a whole nother bowl of crunchies
Me:*poke,poke*still put crunchies on the shopping list
and on and on.
I mean really is it any wonder I'm tired?

Mommy and Solo a Conversation

Solo: Hey it is really nice out we can go out right?

Mommy: You know the deal...you can go out if you put your harness on.

Solo: But harnesses are dorky! All the other kitties will laugh.

Mommy: What other kitties?

Solo: That's not the point.

Mommy: No harness no outside.

Solo: But I would be really,really good honest.

Mommy: Oh? Like last year when you ran across three back lawns and made me chase you..

Solo: *laughing* that was fun wasn't it? Ummm I mean..no I learned my lesson I would NEVER do that again.

Mommy: Too bad. *puts harness on her*

Solo: *dragging back legs* Harness so heavy....can't walk...humliation too great...I will never go out in this...I will never...oh look a butterfly.
*shoots out the back door with mommy watching and rolling her eyes*

Diary of the Day!!!!

Wow diary of the day. I hope I live up to the honor. Well today looks to be a good day. I will be lounging in the sun room napping...smacking my fluffy sister Samantha...napping....lite lunch....staring at the birds...nap...visiting my friends at Tabby Hall.....nap....greeting mommy when she comes home...nap. Whew! That looks like a full day. I better get started. I wonder if I will be able to fit all those naps in? Who am I kidding? I'm a kitty OF COURSE I can fit all those naps in!
