One more month

Thought I should point out to all in exactly one month today, me and Marie will be a year old!

We can't wait to be real adult cats!

I love my daddy!

Usually, I cry my loudest for attention and loving at my mommy. Partly b/c she ALWAYS responds. Partly b/c she's usually the one to feed me; hence, always gotta suck up to her. And partly, it's b/c I am truly "mommy's boy" and proud of it!!

This morning however, as usual, I jumped on the bed once mommy opened the bedroom door. She headed downstairs to start the day, and I headed to daddy to see what interesting things he's doing.

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. *rolls eyes*

So I gave him my loudest, most pitiful cry. He kinda woke up to pet me. I purred loud for him. Then I decided that what daddy was doing seemed really relaxing, so I laid down next to him and TOTALLY stretched myself out, from tip of my front paws to the very tips of my back paws.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeet.

I like spending time with my daddy.

I'm takin' a break, man.

I am taking a break from the Catster forums and social events.

Actually I won't be much on Catster, except to participate in some of the groups that I am in. Mommy is preparing to go back to work next week after being on sick leave for 3 months. Between that, and Catster, and a few online things in which she is involved, and of course all the home things means she is a busy lady.

The stress of juggling so many things has already caused her bp to go up for the first time since her surgery. Not cool obviously. As a result, something's gotta give. I'm sad it'll have to be this. : (

Because I won't be as much on Catster, the messaging has been suspended too, b/c I don't want pple waiting forever for a reply.

I will miss all of you....but I hope to continue connecting with you in the various groups with which I'm involved.

Thanks for the birthday wishes!

Me and Marie celebrated our first birthday on Tuesday August 15. Mommy didn't buy us any new toys or treats (as we have a ton of both!), but she did feed us this new canned cat food "Innova Evo". Have you heard of it? It was so very tasty! Me and Marie and Casey gobbled it all up.


Talking about our birthday though...do you know what our best bday present was? CASEY!! Our big siamese/tonkinese sis finally decided that it could be fun to play chase with us! Not only does she let us chase her....she will chase us around too! It's quite the challenge, as we have stubby legs, and big sis Casey has the elegant long limbs of her siamese ancestors.

Anyways, mommy's been back at work part time for 3 wks, and she keeps saying that it's really kicking her butt to be working again. A big adjustment I guess. It sure was for us! For 4 months, we've been used to feeding on demand, attention on demand, going outside on demand, etc. We need our slave (mommy) back!!!

Anyways, mommy is always so exhausted after work, and hasn't been on the computer much. Doesn't look like that will change anytime soon...maybe at least a month. That is very sad, as I miss my gf Cloud, my idols Mickey Mantle and Kapono, and all my other buddies!

FRIDAY FEBRUARY 9 - THE HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE

I will never ever forget this special night - and I want to thank everykitty who was there to share our special moment with us. :)

Cloud and I were at the LLS Valentine's Day Party. We don't often come out to parties, prefering instead to have quiet romantic dates. But it was a special occasion, organized by the amazing Cheyanne, we knew it would be a lot of fun to go.

However, I wanted to make this occasion special for all time - for me, for Cloud. Every time we are together, she makes me happy and I think I make her happy too. I want to be always together with her, so that we would always be happy!

So I worked hard, very hard. I've never done any public speaking or even talked to more than a few furriends at the very few times I've been at LLS. I was so nervous. What if it didn't come out right? What if I screwed up? What if it wasn't the right time for Cloud?

So at 7:17 pm catster time, in front of so many other kitties, I proposed to say a "poem" at the LLS Valentine's Day Party (which is also a Poetry and Pizza Nite)...and this is what I sang:

We go to a party and everyone turns to see
This beautiful lady that's walking around with me.
And then she asks me, "Do you feel all right?"
And I say, "Yes, I feel wonderful tonight."

AND CLOUD SAID YES!! I AM THE HAPPIEST TOMCAT ALIVE!!!!!

I am so high on Cloud Nine, I dunno what to do, what's a tomcat to do to prepare for a wedding? What will Cloud want? How shall we do this???? I am looking forward to the future!

Easter Weekend

Happy Easter everyone!

I've been hiding out all Easter weekend. My mommy's mommy and mommy's sister came from out of town for a visit. They are strangers to me, and they scare me. So I hide.

I did come out this morning tho, I wanted so much to purr a Happy Birthday to mommy!

Here are 7 things about me:

1. I have the loudest, saddest meow that tugs at the heartstrings and gets me all the love and attention I want. I've got mommy soooooo wrapped around my paw every time I use this meow!

2. Any toy with feathers drive me CRAZY!!!! That includes the birds in the sky and especially the pigeons hanging out on the next door neighbour's roof (that's a story in itself!!)

3. I like to boss my sisters Marie and Casey around, and pick fights with them whenever possible. Of course...they are only playfights. I would NEVER hurt them!

4. I am a sensitive guy. Mommy only has to raise her voice at me and I run away and get very sad and it takes a LOT of petting and love before I am back to my old self again.

5. I am a 100% gentleman. I sit and wait for my food by the food dish. I let my sisters eat first and I will sit and watch them, even if I got there first. I can eat cat food with my paws and will wash my paws before drinking the water. I even cover up the food and drink when I am done with them.

6. I am truly a momma's boy. At least I act the part....

7. Coz, I insist on spending quality time with daddy by making him come to bed with me, so that he can pet me and pay attention to me, and I reward him by purring my loudest and sitting next to him.
