Well, we did the Vet thing again three days ago. Anofur trip to the White Coat in the cat carrier. Anofur nauseating trip in the car. I got even with my pawrents this time...I puked all ofur inside of the carrier, and also aimed projectiles through the door of the carrier, onto the car seat! MOL! Boy, were Meowmy and Dad surprised when they saw that! Heheheeeeeeeeee!
I had to go back to the Vet because my Blood Glucose was too high when they tested me in July. At that visit it was 335. Supposed to be under 200. Meowmy and Dad were supposed to increase my dosage of meds, and bring me back in one month fur anofur test. That brings us to Mondays visit. Dr. Henderson tested me and it was way too high. She asked my pawrents to come back in two hours, and she would test me again. She said that I get so upset by the car ride to her office, that that could be making my number so high. She wanted me to calm down, and she would test me again in two hours. Pawrents returned, and I was poked a second time...really folks, wasn't once enough? MOL! This time my Blood Sugar was 475! And this number was five hours AFTER I had eaten, and AFTER I had emptied my stomach competely hours before the second test! Dr. Henderson told my pawrents to increase my dosage again, and bring me back in one month fur anofur test. I hope that taking those pills will once again bring my sugar under control. If not, I might have to start getting Insulin injections twice a day. I don't know about you, but I do NOT like getting shots! I am trying to avoid this at all costs.
If you have some spare time, could you purray fur me? I really need to get my Blood Sugar under control. I would apurrciate any POP you could send my way too...thank you SO much!
