Cat Of The Day...YIPPEE!!!

Hello fur furiends! You are not going to believe dis, but yesterday I was chosen to be Cat Of The Day! YIPPEEEEEEE!!! I was SO HONORED to have been chosen. We almost didn't find out about my good fortune either. Meowmy had anofur out of town Doctor appointment, and Meowmy and Dad were gone fur most of de day. Dey got home in de afternoon. Meowmy had several things to yesterday before she got around to turning de catputer on. It was around 3 p.m. before she found out about my fame for a day. Boy was she surprised! MOL! Meowmy ran into de room and blurted the good news out to Dad. Den dey both petted me and loved on me, telling me how purroud of me dey were. Big Harry had even made a Cat Of De Day photo for my page. I want to thank Big Harry, and all of my furiends who sent Rosettes, Stars, and Special Gifts to commemorate my special day...THANK YOU!!! Meowmy has been having trouble wif de catputer, so purrlease be patient wif her. She will get each of you thanked as soon as she can. We appreciate de outpouring of love from all of you. YOU MADE MY DAY! MOL!!! I also want to thank the Catster Cat for choosing me. Dis was de happiest day of my life...

I Am Thankful...

Hello fur furiends! I want to thank all of our furiends who sent us de Easter Egg Bonanzas for Easter. Our pages look so festive now thanks to you. It takes a great deal of time and effort to send out so many Special Gifts, and we are truly grateful. Thanks to Catster for making de Eggs available to all Catster members.

I hope dat you all had a wonderpurr Easter...we sure did! Meowmy and Dad went to an Easter Potluck. Dey had a feast! Dey brought us home some Honey Baked Ham, and boy was dat a treat! As some of you already know, I am a real fan of H A M. I would eat it efurry day if I could. Thank mew Meowmy and Dad!

The Waiting Is Over...

Good afternoon fur furiends! Meowmy got de news dat she has been waiting to hear since December 29th...De Doctor called and gave her the Biopsy results. She has NO cancer! Dis is an answer to purrayer. We are deliriously happy! But, de Doctor stressed dat Meowmy doesn't haf cancer YET. He said dat de breast is "Worrisome" and needs to be monitored furry closely. If dere are any changes at all, Meowmy is to contact de Doctor so he can order anofur Biopsy on de abnormal tissue. As it stands now, Meowmy will go back in three months fur a follow up Mammogram. She is so thankful to her Catster friends who have been praying for her throughout dis ordeal. They kept her in a pawsitive mind set de whole time. She had a "good feeling" about de Biopsy results, and guess what? Her friends were right! She doesn't haf cancer! Thank mew efurryone! Thank mew fur being such a blessing to Meowmy, and keeping her pawsitive. You mean de world to us!

HAPPY NEW YEAR CATSTER FURIENDS!

Meowlo Catster furfuriends! As I look back on the year 2011, a lot has happened during dis year. I haf made several REALLY GOOD furiends at Hernando's Hideaway and Kewlest Catster Kitties, the two new Groups dat my furmily and I haf joined during dis year. Furiendships haf been forged dat will nefur be broken. Dese new furiends are like family to me...I love dem dearly. Dese new furiends of mine are such a blessing....I can't believe how lucky I am to haf met such fanCATstic felines and deir humans!

So many things have happened in de last year, too many to list here from my feeble memory. Dere were many celebrations and trips during last year, each one special in its own way. Good times were had by all! Thank you Hernandonian's and KCK...I had a blast last year.

As I look forward to our New Year, 2012, I am hoping fur more good news; I am waiting fur Mr. Christopher to receive his miracle, and be healed of Cancer. God bless you Mr. Christopher! I am purraying dat Ms Terry's Biopsy will come back wif negative results, dat she WON'T haf skin cancer! And, I am also purraying fur my own meowmy, fur her Biopsy results to come back negative, dat she WON'T haf breast cancer! God bless dese loved ones, and restore dem to good health.

KOTW...

Hi fur furiends! We had a fun and relaxing weekend. On Caturday, Midnight, Misu, and I hosted a Soul Expressions at our brewery. We officially opened Hernando's Sports Bar, Ruby and Suki's The Cat's Meow, and a play area fur kittens and pups at de brewery. Thai Pie BBQ'd all of de delicious food fur us, and Misu served efurryone. You should have seen Misu, she was wearing a short skirt and fishnet stockings...MOL! The Sports Bar, Ruby & Suki's Spa/Salon, and de play area were all hooked up to a closed circuit tv system on our big screen tv's at each location. Our live entertainment was filmed and broadcast to each location, so efurryone, no matter where dey were, could view it live. White Boots and I were de emcees dis time. We wanted to give de amazing Ms Aggie a day at de Salon to relax, and not haf to worry about emceeing our event. We had a pawsome time. De entertainment was outstanding, as usual.

After de pawty on Caturday, and all day Sunday, we lounged on de couch wif Meowmy and Dad watching baseball and football. Dere was something wrong wif de catputer, so Meowmy gave it a day of rest. We got brushed and when Meowmy was through, we all looked fancatstic. We got lots of attention from our pawrents, which is how it should be!

Monday morning, Meowmy tried working de catputer, but it was furry slow, kept freezing up, and wouldn't load pages furry often. Meowmy kept trying to load de KCK group page, and finally got it loaded Monday night. She found out dat something outstanding had happened the day before...I had been named KCK's Kewlest Catster Kitty Of The Week! I was jumping fur joy...I couldn't believe my ears! Milo had made me a pawsome photo as KOTW, and Rex, Tabby Little, Dante, T.J., and Milo had sent me Rosettes fur my achievement. I had also received concatulations and good wishes from Rex, Smiley Cassanova, Dante, Pigeon, Amanda, Pumpkin, Sugar, and Elmer! Thank you KCK! I am furry honored to be chosen, and I am on Cloud Nine!!!

Sea World - Queensland Australia...

Meowlo! How are you fur furiends? I've been telling my meowmy dat I wanted to write in my Diary fur three days now, and she is just now getting around to it...it's not like she has anything else to do! Sheesh!

Anyhow, I went on a super duper, crazy, wild, super fun trip de ofur day, and I wanted to tell you about it. My furmily and I belong to a Group here on Catster called Kewlest Catster Kitties...or KCK fur short. We have always been too busy to join any of de fun at dis Group, but I thought that I would make de effort to "Broaden my horizon," and join in wif dis new group. I would be de ambassador representing my furmily, and den report back to dem on what I had found out after my initial contact wif dese strangers in KCK. I only knew one of dem, my good furiend Milo. Milo had told me about KCK being alot of fun, and suggested dat my furmily and I join. We had joined KCK a few months ago, but we were always too busy or too shy to show our faces around dere. I figured it was high time dat I did something to change dat!

I was curious about KCK one night, so I dropped by to read some current posts left by de members. One of dem mentioned dat dere was going to be a Group Trip de next day. Guess who de Trip Coordinator was?.......my furiend MILO! I shot a pawmail off to Milo asap asking him all about de trip. He wrote right back tellin' me dat on Sunday (August 28th) he and his furiends were leaving de US of A to go to Queensland Australia to visit Sea World. I just LOVES de fishies, so I was sold on de trip!

The furry next day, we all boarded a Super Sonic Jet, and traveled across de Pacific Ocean fur The Land Down Under. Bugsy, a group member was our Pilot, and he flew us all dere. The jet was humungous, and Furst Class all de way. Bugsy safely landed the monstrosity, and we headed fur Sea World. Milo co-ordinated all de group events, and came up wif VIP Passes fur all of us. We had de best seats, de finest dining, and nefur waited in line. It was amazing.

Dere were all kinds of fishies. Little fishies. Big fishies. Colorful fishies of all sizes and shapes. Seals, walruses, sea lions, killer whales, and dolphins were a plenty. We watched de shows dat de mammals put on, and dey were fanCATstic! We learned how seahorses were born, and all about de ofur sea life too. We swam wif de dolphins, and boy oh boy, was dat a treat! Dere was just so much to see and do at Sea World...none of us wanted to leave.

When de pawk was closing, we finally decided we would leave too. We headed back to de super sonic jet, and Bugsy flew us home to the States. I met alot of really nice kitties dere at Sea World. During the two flights and de traveling from one mammal show to de next I met Dante (he was our host), Timmy Tomcat, Raincloud, Kibbles & Francis, Pigeon, Tully, Natasha, Sammy, Moose and Hobo, and Elmer. All of dem made me feel furry welcome. Dere were a lot more furs on de trip, but dere wasn't enough time to meet efurryone. I had de time of my life! I hope to meet efurryone in de group one day by going to more trips in de future. Dante, you were a pawsome Host, thank you! Bugsy, you are a splendid Pilot, we will ALWAYS leave de flying to you! Milo and de Admins, all of us dat went on de trip are in awe of all dat you did fur us...THANK MEW FUR YOUR HARD WORK!

I reported back to my furmily when I arrived home, and I told dem efurrything dat occured. From deir reactions, I would say dat I will have a few sibs along wif me next time I fly de furiendly skies...de more de merrier I always say! Wooooooo Hooooooo! Until next time.......

Hernando's Brewery Grand ReOpening...

Hello fur furiends! I had the most exciting weekend last week...we had the brewery's Grand ReOpening on Caturday, July 30th, and we had a blast.

To start things off, SFF brought birfday cakes and pressies fur efurryone dat had a July birfday. I was one of de lucky recipients since my birfday is on July 15th. SFF (South Florida Familia) made mine a Carrot Cake, and it was delishus! There were about ten of us wif July birfdays, so there was lots of cake to go around.

As you pawbably already know, there are three of us dat run de brewery. My pawtners are Midnight Son and Misu. Midnight and I brew de ales and chokky mice, and Misu is in charge of Quality Control. She taste tests efurry batch of chokky mice and each different ale dat we brew.

Efurrybody arrived at purrty much de same time. The New Orlean Kitties brought 3 Goodie Carts filled with seafood and pastries fur us to eat. Misu's sisfur Thai brought her grill, and she grilled us some American favorites. I'ma tellin' you...the food was to die for! As efurryone arrived at de brewery, they entered at the front, and were taken on a guided tour by Midnight. The guests went through efurry room and saw how de brewery was run. When dey got to the Tasting Room, Misu greeted each guest, and gave dem a copper mug. The gentlefurs got a copper engraved mug, de ladies got a copper engraved glass, and de kittens got a copper engraved cup (wif a purrty orange umbrella in it.) Then Midnight finished de tour out on de lawn ofur lookind de airport. De airport is my baby...I am a pilot, and Midnight is my Co Pilot. We fly our chokky ales and chokky mice all ofur de world to waiting customers. Midnight and I treated de crowd to a flyover. We flew overhead in a vintage plane with a banner reading: "Welcome to our Grand ReOpening" flying out behind de plane.

After we landed de plane I was honored to give The Grand ReOpening Toast. I meowed about how purroud Midnight, Misu, and I were to be able to reopen de brewery dat Theo built a few years ago. Our dear furiend Theo, a Meezer, built de brewery and airport. When his Meow Mummy passed away last year, the brewery was closed. It was Theo's dream to have a purrlace for his furiends to come and have a good time, so he built de brewery, and added a stage and grand piano so purrformers could entertain there. It was such an honor fur Midnight, Misu, and I to be able to remodel de brewery, and reopen it in Theo and Meow Mummy's memory.

As soon as the toast was ofur, we all began to eat the mountain of food dat was brought, and drink from de fully stocked bar in the Tasting Room. There were many ales to choose from, also catpagne, and we had non alcoholic drinks fur de kittens and designated drivers. All beverages were made at de brewery. After we had filled our purrlates and gotten our drinks, we were seated in de Theater.(The Theater is where de stage, Grand Piano, and microphones are located.) Maestro Chadwick started off de entertainment by purrlaying de grand piano. He was magnificent! Then we were entertained by the rest of de guests who sang beautiful songs...they were PAWSOME!

All in all, it was a wonderful day...it was filled with love, with happiness, furiendship, and devotion to a past furiend and his awesome Meow Mummy. My thanks goes to each and efurry one of you dat came on Caturday...without you it would not have been pawsible. You are the best furiends a fur man could want...THANK MEW!

I am Daily Diary Pick Of The Day!

Yippeeeeeeeeee! I just discovered that I am DDP today! Thank you Diary Gal! I am furry honored. Also, thank you Big Harry for the pawsome photo today! Meowmy has been away from the catputer today, and just discovered my DDP status when she opened the e-mail from Catster. She came to Catster right away, and behold...it was true! Today is furry special indeed. Thank you efurry fur for the special Rosettes and paw mails of concatulations. You have made my day complete! Ahhhh, now I think I will go eat a healthy portion, and lay down fur a well deserved cat nap!

Home Sweet Home!

Hello fur furiends! Boy, am I glad to be home! I just got home last night after having been at the Vet hospital for four days.

It all started out last Sunday morning. Meowmy noticed that I was having a hard time breathing. Efurry time that I took a breath I would wheeze. Efurry time that Meowmy would pet me, I would start to purr, but that only made me cough. It being a Sunday, the Vet's Office was closed. Meowmy and Daddy kept a close eye on me. They were prepared to call the Vet for an emergency visit if need be.

Meowmy took me to the Vet furst thing Monday morning. I loudly objected to being taken to the Vet the whole way there in the car. As luck would have it, the Vet was out of the office that day. The Vet Tech said that she would run an X-Ray and do some blood work in the meantime. Meowmy called the Vet's Office later Monday afternoon for an update. Amy the Vet Tech said that I pawbably had Asthma. If I would respond to treatment, it should be easily controlled. Amy started treatment right away.

Meowmy called back Tuesday to see how I was doing, and to see if I could come home. Amy told her that my lungs were still full of fluid. If my lungs would clear by Thursday, I could come home then. Meowmy and Daddy were upset. They missed me, and so did my sisfurs. My sisfurs had been pouting efur since I left early Monday morning. Heck, even E.J. my brofur missed me! I had nefur been away from my pawrents before, so this was furry trying.

All of my furiends from Hernando's Hideaway and Chipmunk Posse were diligently purring and purraying fur my recovery. They asked God to clear my lungs and make me feel better, and He did. When my pawrents called on Thursday, they got the good news; I could come home! My pawrents were ofurjoyed. Meowmy nefur could have made it without the love and support of my furiends. Daddy picked me up at the Hospital after he got off work last night.

Meowmy knows nothing about Asthma, so she is going to research it on the internet. She wants to know what kinds of treatment there are for Asthma. I have to return to the Vet's Office next Friday for another steroid injection. My Vet wasn't sure if the steroid he had me on would be the best fur treating me. My blood count was way off, and he was worried that I might become Diabetic. He told my pawrents to keep a close eye on me during this next week before I go back to him. If I expurrience any difficulty breathing or any side effects, they are to take me back to him immediately. If any of you have any feedback on Asthma, purrlease pawmail me and tell me what you know. Meowmy wants to learn all she can. I am SO HAPPY to be home again...you have no idea!

Midnight's Brewery...

Hi fur pals! A couple of months ago Ruby and I joined a fun new group called Hernando's Hideaway. We have made many new furiends there...efurryone is so NICE! They are all pawt of our family now. My BFF Theo had opened an airport at Hernando's, and Midnight had opened a brewery right next to the airport. Midnight was looking for a pawtner to reopen the brewery, and I took him up on it. Midnight and I make chokky (chocolate) mice to eat, and all kinds of chokky ales to drink. The furst thing we did was to hire a Taste Tester. We hired Misu, who is a Chocolate Point Siamese. Who better to test our wares than a "Chocolate Point" feline, right? She tests each batch that we brew to make sure that the quality is purrfect. Recently we found an envelope full of Theo's secret recipes, and we have been trying them out one at a time. Misu has given each batch of each recipe a "paws up." (She would give it a "thumbs up," but felines do not have opposable thumbs!) Last week we tried out Theo's Chokky Dippin' Fondue. It turned out so good we made an extra batch and took it ofur to the Communications Center at Hernando's. Efurryone tried it, and it was a hit! You can dip anything you like in the fondue...shrimp, fish, crab, chicken, tuna, you name it! I learned to fly with Captain Theo, so I man the airport. Midnight and I fly our products all ofur the world to waiting customers. I just love being Midnight's pawtner at the brewery. You really must stop by sometime, and take a tour of our facility.
