i'm the man

wow, it's been a long time since i wrote in my diary. my mom & dad pronounced to me that i had finally lost enough weight to go onto maintenance food & onto 3 meals a day instead of 2!!!! it took me a long time to lose all my weight. i tried to tell them before that i just have big bones but they didn't buy it.

and now i even sometimes get snacks!! i'm a happy, happy cat now. now if it would just cool down i'd be even happier.

i lost weight!

well i finally lost some weight on this darn diet mom & dad have me on. when they weighed me on sunday i had gone down from 12.8 lbs to 12.55 lbs. yay!!! mommy is especially proud of me & gave me extra huggies & kissies. then daddy gave me a new mice toy because i "am such a good cat!"

i'm a chubbers

i'm a naughty little cat, according to mom. she & dad weighed me on sunday & i had gained weight, not lost it!!! i've been on this vet-prescribed diet for over a month now & i'm supposed to have lost some weight by now. i guess when i got into the diet food bag the other day & ate some it wasn't a good thing. dad was sooooo mad when he caught me in the bag. i didn't tell him how much i ate, but i know it was more than 3/4 cup. oops . . . NOT!

the diet food isn't too tasty, but it's all i get. it's called hills science diet r/d. i think mom & dad said it's expensive or something, but they said i'm worth it. i liked my old food better but oh well. i only get 3/4 cup of the vet stuff every day! definitely not enough in my opinion. but i guess it's better than no food at all, which is what i was getting when my old mom & dad abandoned me in oregon. my new mom & dad take much better care of me & i can tell they love me, even though i'm so naughty sometimes.

dad said maybe if i haven't lost weight by next month they'll decrease my food even more. but mom said she wasn't sure that's a good idea. they'll talk to the vet if i haven't lost weight by next weigh in. i'm scared cuz the vet will probably have some drastic idea to make me lose weight. mom calls me chubbers now cuz my tummy is big. and she says i have boy boobies, which i guess i'm not supposed to have or something. sheesh, i'm not that big, i only weigh 12.8 lbs. when i weighed 12.75 lbs the vet told them i had to lose 1.75 lbs. now i have to lose even more! BIG SIGH!!!!!
