Leave a treat for Ch. Dunedin Tutseita's Legacy

Nicknames: His call-name is Tut. Sometimes "Hey, King Tut." Also occasionally called "Doggie" (no insult intended) when he's in one of his affectionate moods, tummy rubs and all.

 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: November 20th 2000
 Coloration: Ruddy

Likes: Tut likes to drop his toys in the water dish. He prefers to play fetch with a Sparklefeather or pipecleaner octopus that's thoroughly soaking wet!

Pet-Peeves: I've yet to see him complain about anything. He's such a nice, easy-going Guy! He's Fearless and always inquisitive about new things.

Favorite Toy: A Sparklefeather, a small crinkly ball-thing with feathers growing out of it.

Favorite Nap Spot: He prefers to sleep in hidden spots we've not yet found. Frequently he keeps me company at night though.

Favorite Food: Like his son Duet he loves to steal the bacon from my breakfast dish.

Skills: He is a Hairdresser a-la-supreme. He wraps his paws around ones neck to comb his Human's hair. Also he plays fetch.

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story: Tut is Duet's Father and PD's son. He has recently given up breeding at Kalyna/Dunedin and could not remain there because frankly some of the other longtime feline residents didn't like him and wouldn't leave him in peace. They wanted him to stay downstairs in the Stud's Lair "Where he belonged," - even after his neutering. However the moment he came back with me the other four resident cats immediately accepted him into the family. He's home!

Bio: Tutseita is named after May-Ling Tutseita, 1965, the Foundation cat for the breed in Canada. http://www.somalibreeders.com/arti cle1.html
Tut truly reflects the legacy of those early attempts at refining the longaired Abbysinian. He is a magnificent example of the breed with his solid build and muscularity, long lush ticked coat, the dramatic symmetrical lines of his face, and his intelligence. Tut only has dilute agouti colouring of his chest and a couple of other spots rather than the desired solid base colour to cause him to lose points from achieving full Grand Champion.
Tut has rapidly adjusted to his new home, as he should, since he gets along with the other cats, two of which are family, and he had already known me for over a year before the possibility of his moving to my home occured. I have always loved this crazy, forward, Macho Ruddy, I am just so so delighted that he decided to come here to stay!!
