Arrival Story:
Went to the Alexandria, VA rescue shelter to pick up a cat. Fell in love with her sister Ana who I planned on taking because Ele was very hyper, not very loving and not nearly as cute. But the animal shelter people convinced me to take them both since they had always been together and would be happier together. While Ana is still pretty cute, I believe her roles was just to get Ele together with her Daddy. Ele is extremely affectionate, comes when I call her and just seems very human - in fact, sometimes she really behaves as if she was my mother reincarnated...
