indoors Arrival Story: Ashleigh came to me through a friend who found a litter of abandoned newborn kittens. They weren't anymore than a few hours old. She brought them to me and I raised the four kittens. As soon as I saw Ashleigh I knew I loved her and wanted to keep her. What solidified it for me was when she was about 2 weeks old she contracted an infection in her eyes and they swelled all up. I took her to work (I work at a vet clinic) and we drained her eyes and she was put on medicine. I promised her if she lived I'd keep her and always take care of her. (I had been told not to expect any of them to live since they didn't get much if any colostrum- fortunately they all lived) Bio: Ashleigh died 4 days before her second birthday. Someone had apparently let her outside and I didn't know and went to bed. When I woke up in the morning she was laying dead behind my car. She had ingested something poisonous.
