Arrival Story:
I was 9 years-old when I got Gorby and his sister Raven. I wanted a cat SO bad after so many of my cats had ran away or become lost. I got him from someone advertising kittens in the newspaper. $2 a pop.

Bio:
Gorby has been one of the best friends I've ever had. He has been through so much in his long life! I'd almost thought we would lose him in 1994 when he got some sort of mysterious fungal infection. He miraculously pulled through and became nice and fat once again. He lived a long life!

Gorby: A long life, a true friend...


Be well again, my little cat...

Wow--Gorby just turned 17 years-old in July. For an "old man," he could certainly get around! A few days ago, his health took a turn for the worse... I prayed he would pass peacefully on his own, but that was not to be. Today, August 8 2006, I had to have him put to sleep. He was so bad in the end and he did not deserve to suffer any further. Please forgive me, Gorby. I am truly honored to have had your friendship for so long! Go with my brother, go with your sister, go with your friends--we will see each other again.

I'll love you, always and forever!
