It's getting better

We are getting used to the shots now - Mom is nuch better at doing them - in fact the only bad part now is getting the medicine before to help with any reaction I might have - and that tastes nasty. The vet said it tastes like chicken and Mom pays extra for the special flavoring but it's a joke - Mom knows because I turned my head just so a while back and she got a shot of it when I did and she doesn't like it either!

So she gives me lots of love and a special treat after - the shots come once a week now not every three days and that helps too. I am looking forward to them coming once a month after this vial. That sounds a lot better - I quess that is the way it stays for a very long time.

Good thing I love my Mom and she spoils me after - I don't see that they are doing anything to help!!

The shots

Well the shots are under way and neither Mom or I are happy. They start with 2 shots every three days and while Mom is careful and very loving I hate it and don't understand.
But after its all over she lets me run and then a little later I come back to her and crawl into her arms and she cuddles me and loves me so I know its all right and then she holds me close so I feel good again and she assures me it will get better.

Finally have the answer

I have been troubling Mom for months with a wierd cough. I can't tell you how many times I have gone to the vet (Something I hate) to be checked and tested.
Finally they did blood work for allergies and Mom got the answer Saturday. She showed me the papers and said I was sensitive to everything. She spent hours on the computer (which I hate) looking for a cat food that doesn't have fish, beef, turkey, lamb or corn in it - all which I can't have. Then she went to the pet store and did some more looking.
We now know I do not like vension or duck!
Tonight she goes to the vet and talks about my other allergies - pollen, trees, grasses and mold. She didn't tell me what they we going to do about those but I doubt I am going to like it - I already don't like the pills I am on twice a day for this.
But I love my Mom and she knows what is best and she does give me a bit of Tyson chicken for a treat after the pills - thanks goodness I can still have that!
