Meme

It's hard to believe that anycat would want to know more about me. Atlas, my brother Jeter's frend, and John Hunt Morgan invited me to list 7 things about myself. Here goes:

1. I am a solitary cat. I like to be outside ... on my own ... and left alone.

2. I like to have my meals served outside. That's called "eating al fresco."

3. On occasion, I like to sleep on the bed with my humans. When I do, I sleep as close as I can to my chosen human. It is, however, on my terms.

4. I don't talk much. I am a cat of few words.

5. I do NOT like to have my picture taken.

6. Although I am my own cat, I am patient with my brother Matsui. If he wants to eat from my personal dish, I allow that. I might be solitary ... but I do have a heart.

7. Of all the humans in this house, I love my mom the most.

That's 7 random facts about me. I don't socialize with other cats ... so I'm going to leave it at that.

My Forums Motto

If you know me, and not many of you do, I am not very social. I keep to myself and stay out of trouble. I let my siblings do the big work on Catster.

Recently, I was asked by my young brother Jeter Harris, to vote for his best friend Reebok for "Furrend of the Week". So I "mosied on" into the forums and placed my vote. Upon looking at the thread to see how the kid's friend was doing in the competition... I noticed the following under my newly updated primary photo:

"Update your pet's motto"

I was totally amused by that and decided that it would become my forums motto "update your pet's motto".

And there you have it.

Now leave me alone.

My first entry and probably my last

I'm Whitey Ford. My brothers and sister are pretty cooperative cats and put up with pictures, and petting, and all the stuff that cooperative cats do. I, on the other hand, am quite independent. I like to take trips away from home ... find some "free range" food to eat ... and be on my own. That's not to say that I don't enjoy an occasional cuddle with my humans during the night. In fact, I like to crawl under the covers sometimes! Well, I'm writing this because I have been told that there's only one photo of me on my Catster Plus Page...and my back is turned to the camera. I just want the world to know that I want it that way! I love my humans ... but I love my privacy. This is my first diary entry ... and probably my last. Let's see what happens.
