Saying goodby to a best friend

Today we had to say goodbye to the best cat we have ever owned. She was diagnosed with Kidney failure and we helped her survive for as long as we could but this morning she told us it was time to say goodbye. We will miss her dearly but know that she is always with us in spirit.

Trip to the vet

Mom & Dad took me to the vet today cause they found a hot spot from where mom had put Revolution on me that looked like it was starting to get infected. So the vet gave me a shot of cortizone & some antibotics to take for 10 days. The vet said mom might get rembursed for part of the vet vist cause it was a reaction to the flea stuff..

It's my Birthday!

WOOOOO it's my birthday I'm 7 today of course my mom & dad got me some cool mice & I got some yummy natural balance chicken & liver pate for breakfeast!

A month ago they brought home a bouncy bubble of joy (8week old Australian Cattle Dog Puppy) that I wasn't all tooo thrilled about. I guess he's here to protect me from evil raccoons & possums :)

Yesterday was the worst day of my life

OY! SO Tuesday night mom gave me a bath which wasn't too bad but so not what I wanted...been playing in the dirt having a good time getting my paws all black and dirty.. Then I find out I have to get a bath cause I have my annual Vet exam the next day...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Wed, afternoon I get stuffed into my carrier and put in the nice new car that the humans bought, I'd have to say it's MUCH nicer than that old loud car, although I think mom still drives it.. We get to the vet office and i can't take it any more and of course I forgot to go to the bathroom before hand and pee in my carrier out of fear and nervousness. Mom did get one of those new asorbant pad liners which helped but didn't at the same time since I had a full bladder..

We get to go in the exam room and surprise I lost 3lbs! over the year wow! I did weigh 17lbs 3 oz and now I weigh 14lbs 3oz! Mom & Dad think it's the food I get now Royal Canin for Main Coons which is great stuff! Then all the sudden BAM! I get a thermomitor up my butt OUCH!!!!! so by the time the vet comes in (which i do like her cause she's nice), I'm just not in the mood to be nice. I tried to attack her twice, bit mom twice and hissed a lot showing my pearly whites! I also got a shot which sucked tooo...

What a crappy day, oh and it started raining so i can't go outside :(

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all Catster friends! My mom & dad got me a Cat Magnet that I can rub and it grooms me and i can roll around on cause it's treated with some goood catnip! They said they have some more things but I have to wait til tomorrow! Meow NOT FAIR!!!!

Winter is Here

Well here in Washington State we've been under a "Winter Storm Watch" and yesterday we were supposed to get almost 4" of snow! It started around 10:30am and didn't stop snowing til around midnight maybe later since mom & dad went to bed around 10pm. Both mom & dad are sick with colds, mom got it much worse and has spend the last 2 days home now from going and playing with the horses.

We just came back inside from taking a quick tour around outside, which was sooo cold for my little feets but ooo I got to go outside!!! YIPPPYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mom carried me out into the middle of the yard and put me down in the snow how annoying!!!! she made me a little path to walk in but noooo...I was way too mad and decided to walk in the snow which was up to my belly!! DOH!!!! She took some photos and once the camera adjusts to the inside temp she'll post a couple of them.

I wanted to walk out on the ice that's covering the pool but mom said no cause the cover isn't on it and it's not thick enough yet.. so I meowed and we went back inside, I'm now cleaning my paws warming them up.

It's My MOMMY'S Birthday!!!

It's my mommy's birthday!!! I went and graciously woke her up at 8:30am to help dad wake her up *GRINS* He kept telling me go wake mamma up :) I jumped up on the bed, crawled up her belly layed all my 17.2 lbs on her chest and started purring as LOUDLY as I could then I licked her nose and chin. The licking woke her up slowly and she proceeded to scratch my chin and behind my ears which I LOVE the most :) Of course she tried to sit up and get up but I wouldn't move an inch hehehehhee...finally I let her get up and followed her to the office and jumped up on her computer desk and stared at her til she got up and cleaned my litter box. AHHH... the joys of a clean bathroom!!! Anywhoo, Dad gave mom 2 lovely watches which the nice shiny dress one I really liked cause it was sparkly and was bouncing light making me highly interested in it :) the other watch made funky beeping noises and it took mom forever to figure out how to get it set like she wanted it :) Well that's all for tonight.

Boring Days

It always sucks when Mom & Dad have to work a lot and i'm home alone all day long.. But the best part is when they come home and play with me with my laser light toy which makes me go CRAZY!!! and give me TONS of treats and GOOD FOOD!!!!

Cool Birthday Gifts

My mommy brought me home 3 gifts today from PetSmart my ALL TIME FAVORITE STORE!!!!

So far the #1 gift was the laser light pen thingy, man that thing makes me go nuts! What really boggles my mind is how does it disappear??? Where does it go??? Oh and it changes shapes on me!! First it's a dot then it's a mouse that changes size depending on how close or far away it is to mom.

I've never had one of those toys and I love it!!! I even keep looking for that dot when mom's put the toy away!

Gift #2 a new Fat Cat Inc. Crinkle Mouse with they're Awesome Catnip!!! I've already put some bit mark holes in the mouses belly! YEA! GO ME!!! I KILLED IT!!!

and Finally gift # 3 was a window perch!!!! Mom & Dad have to figure out where to put it though so that it is in the right spot for me to hang out and sleep or just stare out a window or something... I tried to squeeze my head into the box it came in but darn it that box is way to thin :( I took over the perch while it was on the floor and tried it out.. very comfy!

Mom will be taking some photos of me and she said that she was going to update the photo gallery on my website tomorrow after she does some work on some other websites for her clients.

Happy Birthday to ME!!!!!

It's my birthday today :) I'm officially 5yrs old! My Mom & Dad sang me happy birthday this morning and mom said something about bringing me home something special. I wonder what it could be????
