Arrival Story:
Someone told my mummy where I was in a big cage with my 4 brothers and sisters with a "For Sale" sign. As soon as the door to the cage was opened I made a mad dash to get out and I was the first kitten my mummy picked up and she decided that I was the one she wanted. She said I was the most beautiful and I was a girl. She really likes girl cats the best! I love my new home very much. I am a high energy kitty, very curious and I must see, smell, touch everything. I love it when repairmen come to my house! Willie and Princess hide under the bed, but I climb into the tool box and smell everything. Once I sat and watched a repairman for 5 hours. I was glad when he left because I needed a nap.

When no one is home I walk on the kitchen counters and knock stuff onto the floor. I beat up Willy just for fun whenever he is having a big sleep. If I feel like it I wash Willy's ears for him, then when he is least expecting it I bite him! I chewed right through mummy's head phone set! The nice man at the store gave her new ones for free. Maybe I should chew on that wire again. My mummy gave me a cardboard box and I am ripping it to shreds! Nobody holds me unless I say it's ok and only for 1 minute! When mummy gives us wet food I go to all the dishes and eat it all. When I eat I growl just to make sure I get it all. I have much more to do. I rip up all toiletpaper whenever I get into the bathroom. I knock over the papertowel in the kitchen and rip it to shreds. And napkins too! The last thing I did was I ripped about 2 feet of silicone off my mummy's bathtub! Cool eh? One day I was outside in our cat enclosure and a Raccoon jumped up onto our patio and walked up to me....I raced into the house and hid in a closet for 2 hours! He better not come back or I'll have to beat him up. Princess likes me, but Willy, the big wuss was afraid of me when I first came to my new home! I puffed my fur up real big and he ran away and hid behind the tv. He did this for 2 days and he slept as much as he could to avoid me. He didn't scare me at all! Then after 2 days he followed me everywhere like a bad rash. Sometimes he plays mean and my mommy comes to my rescue. He bites real hard! But not until after I bite his face and pull his chin hairs. Sometimes we cuddle and keep each other warm. My birthday is Sept 4, 2005

A wonderful Message

The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but
shorter tempers, wider Freeways , but narrower viewpoints. We spend more,
but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and
smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees
but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more
problems, more medicine, but less wellness.

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little,
drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too
little, watch TV too much , and pray too seldom.

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too
much, love too seldom, and hate too often.

We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to
life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but
have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer
space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better things.

We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom,
but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but
accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more
computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but
we communicate less and less.

These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small
character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of
two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are
days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night
stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to
quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and
nothing in the stockroom. A time when technology can bring this letter to
you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to
just hit delete...

Remember; spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going
to be around forever.

Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because
that little person soon will grow up and leave your side.

Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the
only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent.

Remember, to say, "I love you" to your partner and your loved ones, but
most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes
from deep inside of you.

Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will
not be there again.

Give time to love, give time to speak! And give time to share the precious
thoughts in your mind.

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments
that take our breath away.
