Blue-Lynx Point

Griz loves to run around for no reason, dart from room to room as fast as she can and then stand wide eyed with tail twitching. She also loves annoying her boyfriend, Ferguson, and gazing at herself in the mirror. (Cuz I'm so purrrfect!)

She's a very jealous girl, she's always top cat no matter how big her friends are.

Favorite Toy:
Shiny things. Especially mom's jewelry or anything that "she's not allowed to play with."

Favorite Nap Spot:
On the back of any couch, sprawled out, belly up... or in the underwear drawer where its nice and warm.

Favorite Food:
Iams kitty food.

Looking demonic in most pictures we take, sitting up like a human on couches, climbing into very small spaces, and getting the other cats in trouble.

Arrival Story:
I was particularly depressed and decided to cheer myself up by visiting Petsmart. "Prissy" was the last kitty I looked at. She was super sleepy and looked absolutely awful. She was missing fur in some spots where she had to be shaved and she had a runny nose. But as soon as I picked her up, she started purring and staring at me with those pretty green/gold eyes. I knew she was mine. I went back the next day to fill out adoption papers and "Prissy" was no where to be found. I talked to the employees and they said she'd been taken back to a shelter in Pittsburgh since she contracted a kitty cold. It took me a week to get down there because of the holidays, but through phone calls I made sure she'd be there. She was seperated from all the other cats because she was ill, but there she was.. waiting to come home with me. Griz goes everywhere with me now, and I am forever grateful she chose me as her owner.

Griz has had many different names and homes. Originally a stray, she was picked up along with her 3 kittens and taken to Animal Friends in Pittsburgh. She was given the name "Prism" and adopted by a family. She knew that family wasn't for her though, and she ran away again. The second time she was picked up by the humane society, who luckily did a scan on her ID and realized she belonged to the Animal Friends. She was returned there and then shipped out to Petsmart in Cranberry.. where she took the name "Prissy," because there was already a "Prism" at the shop. She's a tough kitty, all 7 lbs of her (2 of which, I'm pretty sure is just fur..), but she's given up her life in the "big house" and settled down into a smaller, much warmer and comfortable home with her momma, daddy and "boyfriend" Ferguson.

My mommy's been gone for two nights now and I don't like it one bit! I always look forward to going up to our farm home, especially since Ferguson is there.. he's such fun to play with!

(Although.. I can't say that I missed the car ride up there!)

Mom said I couldn't go because of the "cement." I don't know what she meant by that. I wish that I could have gone with her.

Oh well.. I still have the other mommy to take care of me, mom says she spoils me rotten, but I like it just fine! Time to go bother the other cats...

... *they're everywhere*!

I swear! I ran around all day trying to find *them,* but they were nowhere to be found! I darted from under the table.. to behind the piano.. under the table.. behind the piano.. under the table.. behind the piano..

*I couldn't find them!*

Mommy played with me a lot today, she said I was a "spaz," but I'm not sure what that means.

*I just know they're out there! I need to find them!*

I've been home alone almost all day, well.. except for that cranky one they call "Binx" and the ancient one they call "Missy." Neither one of them ever wants to play, in fact Binx not only doesn't want to play.. but he chased me away from my toys! Mom finally came home this afternoon, but I can already tell she's getting ready to leave again. I miss my other home, at least Ferguson plays with me! *big kitty sigh* I guess I'll just have to go take a nap.. again.
