It's Zachary's 2nd Birthday!

It's hard to believe that Zachary is two today. He is still so kitten-like. He still attacks our toes under the blankets when we're in bed...he hates to be alone and loves to literally plop down on top of either myself or Emily, our other cat. Emily isn't too fond of this, but will often allow Zachary to lay on top of her. Zachary is a sweet, goofy boy who is our little love. He loves to watch our three year old daughter play and he get's frighteningly close to her even though she has pulled his tail before. What can I say, I adore my cat! Happy Birthday Zachary!!

Yikes, Mommy and Daddy are going on a Trip!

Zachary's human mommy and daddy are going on a trip. I am very nervous about leaving Zachary for so long (with catsitter visiting twice a day). He is so needy right now and follows me and sleeps with me like a puppy. I hope he and Emily will be ok. I'm usually home so they are used to me being here, so I hope they dont get too upset.

Doing fine...

Well Zachary did great with his neuter surgery. He was less active then usual when we first got him home, but very alert. He was back to his usual hyper playful self 2 days later. If anything he seems even more hyper now then before he was neutered. He has been jumping on Emily alot, which really upsets her, being a typical kitten I know.....Hopefully though he will calm down enough (sometime soon) so that he and Emily can be friends.

Zachary's new thing is dragging his fishing pole toy which is an acual 4 foot pole with a string and toy attached all the way up a long flight of stairs. He is so clever...He brings it right to me, showing me, he wants to play and mommy is being mean and ignoring him!

Zachary gets neutered tomorrow

Well my little man is getting neutered tomorrow...Of course I'm nervous, because i'm a silly mommy. I just took Zachary and Emily's food away since Zachary has to fast for 12 hours, boy are they going to be hungry.

Zachary is turning into a beautiful cat, though still has alot of growing to do as his breed matures slowly. His personality is wonderful. He is loving to me and his dad and charming and sweet to human guests....The only one he is rough with is poor Emily. But I imagine once he outgrows his kitten crazies they will get along better.
