Subject: Transfer Factor Powder

Wondering if you know anything about Transfer Factor Powder? Whether its safe to use as a general application?

The kittens caught a flu last week & the vet gave them this & its worked very well & fast.

Just thinking if it is safe to use the same on Alex - he's contracted the flu from the kittens & is very down right now ... lethargic & a little feverish .. hardly touches his food. I have put some glucose in his water & he is drinking that & I've put him on kitten wet food & added lysine to it. I've also been sponging his paws regularly last night.

He seemed a slightly better but I'm worried. The vet - ARC is pretty much booked but if there's still no improvement by this evening, I'll try a walk in.

I think the powder worked. Alex is back to his usual talkative self last night & his appetite is back. I am so relieved that I couldn't stop hugging him the whole night ... think I frightened him a little ...

Beauty is quite an intuitive girl (or are all cats like that?) ... she sort of knew that Alex was down the last few days .. she was actually pretty kind to him (in a Beauty way) .. she let him sleep in her basket & sat near him throughout the whole ordeal, she didn't growl or hiss at him ... but the minute he recovered (last night), she's back to her usual grumpy self .. my conclusion is the grumpy anti-social cat-hating Beauty is just for show .. she's actually a big marshmallow - all sweet and soft ... :)
