Toys! Playing! Running! Chasing my tail -- it follows me everywhere. It mocks me! And, of course, Rhythm & Blues!

Pet-Peeves:
Young children who chase me.

Favorite Toy:
Live vermin were at the top of the original list, but now I love "Da Bird," furry little mousies, and flat things like emery boards. The latest passion is the Red Dot -- Where does that thing come from?! It, too, mocks me.

Favorite Nap Spot:
On top of Dad's monitor speakers in the garage, on my blanket on da orange chair...

Innova EVO dry food

Skills:
I am the peace officer of the house. I also save the the world from tails, fringe, and dust bunnies. I'm getting really good at jumping, but what I do best is entertain my uprights.

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story:
I'll turn it over to my momcat, Sooma from this point on. Take it away, Sooma!********** Stevie Raow Vaughn approached my husband one night when his (the husband's) band was playing at a local bar. It was an icy, cold night, and the little Mister just couldn't leave that nice kitty outdoors to fend for himself in that weather, so he brought him home. I figured, "What the heck? This is the nicest hairy little man who's ever come home after the bars closed for a nice warm meal and a place to sleep!" We tried for almost 2 weeks to find Stevie's family, to no avail. Once we realized he had found his way to his forever home with us, we took him to the vet to have a check-up and to have his "batteries" taken out. He's a real joy, and we're so glad he knew where he belonged.

Bio:
Stevie has settled into our home and our hearts like a pro. We have no idea what his life was like before he found his way to us, but we know it's good now!

Stevie Raow Vaughn
(By Stevie Raow Vaughn by his Momcat, Susan Lynch)

Stevie Raow Vaughn,
Did someone wonder where you'd gone
On that cold, icy February night?
You walked up to Jim
And you snuggled up to him
And he knew that his instinct was right.

Jim brought you home,
Where you found you weren't alone
A new family was waiting here for you.
There were Jim and TJ,
Two others who had gone away,
And, of course, your new Mama-cat,, Sue.

You've been here a year
And we love that you are here
To share all the joys of our warm home.
Somewhere, someone must wonder,
Must have looked above and under,
And hopes that your life is filled with cheer.

I wish we could find
The family you left behind
So we could let them know that you are safe.
But we're so glad you are here
In our home where you're held near
In our hearts, where we love you, my dear.

Here's a poem my Momcat wrote for me. She's really glad I came to live with her family!
