The rules: Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Cats who are tagged need to write on their own blog about the seven things and the rules. You need to choose seven cats to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to leave them a comment that they have been tagged and to read your blog.
MY SEVEN FACTS:

I heard Mom and Dad talking about 'expecting' a new baby brother or sister. Mom put in a picture of the new babies, one of them will be coming home sometime around Christmas!
I wonder what they are going to call the new one - any suggestions, send us a note so Mom and Dad can have lots of ideas.
Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Hi everyone,
Well Mommy and I went on that long ride again to the Special allergy doctor today. The doctor said I look so much better, as if I didn't know that. She checked me out, my ears, my belly, my chin and the bacterial infection seems to be cleared up. She doesn't want to do the skin allergy testing just yet, it would involve putting me to sleep and she doesn't like to needlessly put an animal to sleep for tests without trying other things first. The doctor first wants Mom to have me spayed, she will prescribe some antibiotics in case I have any trouble healing. Then after I am healed I will have to go back again so we can try some steriods to see if they can control the allergy. For the most part the worst is over now that the infection has cleared up.
I was so mad at Mommy this weekend, she went to my Aunt Carol's house for an overnight stay. I was so upset all night, Daddy tried to make up for Mommy not being home but only Mommy knows how to rub my belly until I go to sleep and only Mommy knows how many kisses I need before bed. Although Daddy is pretty easy to give in when I beg for some deli ham. MOL. When Mommy came home on Sunday - she smelled like (oh dare I say it) DOG!!!!! My Aunt Carol has 3 German Shorthair Pointers and I just know they got to sleep with Mommy while I had to sleep only with Daddy. But Mommy knows better now then to go somewhere over night again. Ever since the moment she got home, I have not left her side. I cried and cried so much when she walked through the door she had no choice but to pick me up and cuddle me to get me to stop. When we went to bed and Mommy was home this time, I climbed up onto her chest and rolled over onto my back, put my head up to her neck and purred and purred. Mommy rubbed my belly and I put my arm around her face and finally fell asleep. Mommy felt so bad after she saw how much I missed her. I still won't leave her side, when ever she gets up, I follow her around, if she goes into the big kitty box and closes the door, I sit at the door and cry till she comes out. Mom hopes I start feeling better soon but she will give me all the time I need cause she really loves me.
I will talk to you all soon, stay warm

Mom took me to the doctor yesterday for that booster shot I heard her ask about at the specialist's office. My regular doctor couldn't believe how much better I looked since the last time I saw her. I am now up to a whopping 7 lbs 3 oz! Needless to say, Dr. Williams was very happy to see that, Mom and Dad keep calling me a Pudge. MOL. Dr. Williams looked in my ears and told Mommy that they were very clean, no redness or swelling. All the girls that work at the vet's office had to come in the room to see me, the last time they saw me I was in pretty bad shape, I had a lot of bad booboos on my head, face and chin from me scratching. Mom told them the Nail caps she heard about through Catster were a Godsend. She told Dr. Williams all about Catster and Dr Williams said she would definately check out the website. I really like Dr. Williams, she is so nice to me.
I go back to the special doctor again on the 7th so Mommy will know more about why I am still itchy at least she hopes we will know more.
I will keep you all updated.
God Bless

Hi,
Mom and I just got back from another of my weekly ear cleanings and check ups. The good news is I don't have to go back next week, I don't go back to that Dr until March 7th. The bad news is that they gave Mom some different kind of ear drops for me. Well, I suppose it isn't too bad because she only has to do it once a day instead of twice a day. I also heard Mom ask at the doctors today if I can have my booster - whats a booster? Hmmm, I don't think I like boosters...... They also told Mom that I can still take my antihistamine to help with my itchies, though they are much better I am still itchy at times and Mom worries about me irritating my ears.
So thank you all for your prayers, Mom says they are really helping. Keep them coming.
God bless everyone,
Mishka

Well last week (well actually on 1/31) Mommy took me to a special doctor for my skin problem. I had an appointment scheduled for March but Mommy was so worried about me she begged them to put us on a cancellation list and sure enough, they called and asked if we could come in the next day. I was pretty scared, it was a long 1 hour drive and I know they were going to poke and prick me. They did all kinds of tests, took blood, scraped some skin, pulled out some hair, did a deep cleaning in my ears. Mommy could hear the doctor and her helpers talking about me, even the man that came to deliver boxes said I was beautiful. ;-) The doctor finally brought me back to my Mommy and told her that I am NOT allergic to food. Boy, was I upset to hear that, I had to eat that yucky food for the last 2 years but yeah, the doctor told Mommy I can eat what ever I want. She told Mommy that I have a bad case of Bacterial Infection pretty much all over me. My ears were the worst of all but they found bacteria in the skin scrape, the hair and of course my ears. She said we caught it just in time because if we waited too much longer I might have needed surgery for my ears. The doctor said I might still have some kind of allergy but she wants to get this infection completely cleared up before they put me to sleep to do any kind of allergy test. She said Mommy was smart not to have me fixed because if a doctor put me to sleep and did surgery I could have had some serious problems, maybe even lost all 9 lives at once! Mommy must be part cat, she seems to have that sense of danger.
The doctor gave Mommy some ear drops to use 2 times a day and a antibiotic pill to give me once a day. I have to go back once a week to have my ears cleaned by the technicians and I will see the doctor again on 3/7 to see if the infection has cleared. Then we will decide what to do next.
The next day was my birthday and Mommy and Daddy told me they were going to get me a special surprise for my birthday and they came home with my favorite food! Yum, I didn't think I would ever be able to have that again.
This past monday we had to take that long drive to the doctor and had to have my ears cleaned again. The technician came back and told Mommy I was a good girl and didn't give them a hard time. They also told Mommy that the bacteria in my ears was gone but there is still a lot of inflamation and irritation so we still have to do drops and pills. I go back again next monday.
Daddy says I look so much better already, he says I look much happier since I don't have to wear that cone thing. Mommy heard about these Soft Claws here on Catster and got them for me 2 weeks ago. They work great, I don't even know they are on, I can finally scratch my itches but I am not cutting into the skin. Mommy is so thankful for finding Catster and all my new kitty friends who give lots of advice and love.
We will write again next week to give an update after the next appointment. Keep your prayers coming 'cause they are working.
God bless you all.
