The past few weeks have been terrible. There have strangers coming in and out of the house. There's been noises and smells that I'm not familiar with. Mom says it's called re-decorating, but I call it trouble.
It finally came to a head when they pulled up my beloved carpet and put down new stuff. I had the old all filled with my scent and lots of my fur. The carpet layers had only been gone minutes when I set to work making this new stuff mine. I puked on it and sat there proudly showing mom that it may be new, but I'm still in control.

I have been tagged by Miss Tiger Wood's little brother, Tank.! The rules:
Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Cats who are tagged need to write on their own diary about the seven things and the rules. You need to choose seven cats to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to leave them a comment that they have been tagged and to read your diary.
My seven random facts:
1) I'm Daddy's favorite. He calls me his Love Bug.
2) Kiowa, My McDreamy is my kitty love.
3) I will hold a pose to have my picture taken.
4) Queenie is my oldest Catster friend.
5) I have the ability to turn lights on.
6) The new bed that Kiowa gave me for my birthday is my favorite thing.
7) I am able to multi-task by carrying something in my mouth and talk at the same time.
Okay! Here are my friends that I'm tagging! (I won't tag anyone that Tank has tagged already, even though they're my friends.)
Riley
Queenie
Klemy Q-Tip
Schyler Colfax
Bob
Calli
Sgt. Pepper

My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects.
They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates are fed hash or
some sort of dry nuggets. Although I make my contempt for the rations
perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my
strength. The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape. In an
attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the floor.
Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet.I
had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly
demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made condescending
comments about what a "good little hunter" I am. The audacity!
There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed
in solitary confinement for the duration of the event. However, I could hear
the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to
the power of "allergies." I must learn what this means, and how to use it to
my advantage.
Today, I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my
tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this
again tomorrow -- but at the top of the stairs.
I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches. The
dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released --and seems to be
more than willing to return. He is obviously retarded! The bird has got to
be an informant. I observe him communicating with the guards regularly. I am
certain that he reports my every move. The captors have arranged protective
custody for him in an elevated cell, so he
is safe.......for now....

Dear Catster Friends,
I can't believe my good fortune. Today, I have been chosen to have the Diary of the Day. I am so honored. I dictate my entries to my assistant (Mom), but all the ideas are strictly my own. I wonder if I should go into journalism?
I want to thank everyone who has ever inspired me. Mom, Dad, and of course my sister, Phoebe. Even my Bridge sister, Kassie, has telepathically given me ideas. After doing some soul searching, I really think that I received this honor because of my love life. Yes, Kiowa has put the lilt back in my step and a twitch in my whiskers. He has renewed my faith in all that is bright and shiny. Besides that, he's very cute.
Thank you Catster. It is a very good day.

I'd like to thank my family, all my friends (especially Kiowa), and the people at Catster for honoring me by being chosen Cat of the Day. I'm just purring like crazy over it.
I've been very busy getting my Catster page up to snuff for Christmas. This is a really fun time for us, and I've been VERY good in case Santa Claws is reading this. The tree isn't up yet, but Phoebe and I look forward to that wonderful day. I have to tell you that Mom has collected all these wonderful ornaments that are very personal to her and Dad, but she hasn't been able to display them for the past few years because Phoebe and I have taken a liking to sleeping in the tree. We're strictly indoor kitties, so this is our only opportunity to experience nature.
I am going to bask in the glory of being Cat of the Day and lord it over Phoebe the whole day.

I've been really stressed lately. I understand that Mom feeds any old stray cat that comes to the door, but the latest one actually used one of our carriers. I thought she had moved in, but it was a false alarm. I've recently heard heard Dad say that she is really loved in her new forever home and she does this thing about carrying balls around in her mouth and talking to them. THAT'S WHAT I DO.
Now I'm feeling embarrassed and guilty that all I did was growl and hiss at this very adorable kitten. She must have looked up to me as her mentor.

I'm just sitting on my chair looking out the window. There's this white stuff all over, and it's very wet. Mom feeds these two boy kitties that come twice a day and expect to be fed. Mom calls them her "little kitties from China." I don't know what that means except if Phoebe and I don't eat our breakfast or dinner, she gives that to them too. Don't get me wrong. She gives us something else to eat. If those outdoor boys don't finish their meal at night, this funny white thing with a long, rat tail comes up on our deck and eats what's left. It's very messy and puts his arms in the water too. I get right down next to it through the glass, but it doesn't seem to care.
I'm getting pretty sleepy. It must be time for another nap.
