Arrival Story:
About a year before we got Alfie, our beloved cat Frisky died suddenly of a heart attack. It was hard on our whole family and we couldn't just "replace" him quite yet. When we where ready, we decided to get a pure bred Maine Coon, so there wouldn't be likely that we would lose it so quickly, like we did with Frisky. We found a wonderful breeder, who was extremely nice and didn't just care about making a buck of these beautiful show cats. We look at a litter she had, and none of them captured our hearts. We came back two more times to look at two more litters, and finally after looking at nearly thirty cats, one stole our affections! Immediately he curled into my arms and was just so darn cute! :) We kid that he is the "king" of the house, but he truly is! I absolutely adore my beloved Alfie Roo!
