Arrival Story:
At the time I already had two neuters (a boy and a girl - Spyce and Emily) and had said I didn't want any kittens. My friend bred Birmans (which is where I got Emily from) and before Emily came to me she had had one last kitten. That kitten grew up to be called Esaya Swansong and she had one kitten of her own. From being a few weeks my friend kept telling me that the kitten was going to come and live with me. "No, I'm happy with my two neuters" I kept saying "they will do me just fine".... but over the weeks and times I visited, I soon found myself referring to this little bundle of fluff as 'my kitten' - amazing how they easily worm their way into your heart!

Bio:
So why the name Holly. Well, she became my 2000 Christmas present (to myself). However her pedigree name was a little harder. 'Sweet' - because her father is called Wispa (the chocolate bar?) and Melody - because her mother was called Swansong - hence Esaya Sweetmelody. Emily is her Grand-mother. Holly has had a number of lovely kittens since she came to live with me and is a truly excellent mum. In the photo above, Holly is the Birman on the right, with her son Sam. Holly was neutered in 2006 and is getting even friendlier and fussier all the time. She has since been taken out to a show, and did really well - I was terribly proud of her as she behaved beautifully.
