A Day In Bridget Life

In The Life Of Bridget

Well today is November 19, 2007 and Bridget has grown to be very beautiful. She is still a scardy cat but she is Donald, Charlene and Malik scardy cat. She has become more familiar with Donald and I and she sleeps on the end of the bed, but she still runs when you go to touch her unless you move to her slowly. She has adjusted, but I am still wondering when she is going to allow us to pick her up.

She will not let us pick her up yet. She is not comfortable with anyone grabbing or reaching out to give her affection. She just watches how much affection Precious gets and I guess wishes she was not so scared. Any suggestions of breaking her out of this would be appreciated by anyone.

Since Bridget has grown up from the very first day we got her, she has always been a scarey cat. She put the word SCARDY CAT IN Scared. I plan on keeping her but I am not quite sure what her problem is?

She is very anti-socialable and tends to want to be with herself and Precious. She does not allow us to touch her unless she feels she want to be pet and believe me it will be at arms lenght. Every thing scares or freightens her and I don't know how to handle this because I need to bathe, and cut her nails but she won't allow you to catch her or be nice to her in any kind of way.

THIS IS AN OUT-REACH TO ANYONE WHO READS THIS IF THEY KNOW OF ANYTHING I CAN DO TO GET BRIDGET TO BE MORE RECEPTIVE WITH HER HUMAN FAMILY I WOULD APPRECIATE IT, INSTEAD OF RUNNING AWAY EVERYTIME WE ENTER OR COME IN A ROOM SHE RUNS OUT AND WE ARE NOT EVEN NEAR HER.

Bridgets First Day With The Flournoys'

Bridget was the cuttest little kitten when we first got her. She use to hide under the radiator, in the bookcase, in the computer desk because she did not want anyone to touch her and she was scared of everything.

When she first got here boy was she loaded with medical problems and issues that had to be corrected. Bridget never got attention, so she craves attention from me and my husband and she does not want Precious to get any attention or any food. Bridget eats like she is starving to death. She eats her food in under 15 seconds all the time looking in Precious Bowl to see if he has finished cause he eats very slow. When she has devoured her food completely she stick her head right in his bowl knocks him out the way and starts eating his food. What does he do............Nothing. I guess he is so fat he is saying well give her a turn to get fat and get a stomach ache and a bunch of Fur Balls.
