My Diary

Feelin' Groovy

In November and December I was so sick. Mommy nursed me back to health with some steroids, Subq fluids with b12 added, and best of all, HOME MADE cat food!!! Nom Nom Nom. Sometimes she sneaks in some commercial canned food (the stuff that's mostly meat, not the other stuff that was hurting my tummy). She says it's got more of the vitamins I need, but it doesn't taste as good as the raw diet of chicken!

Anyway, I'm feeling better and I look so much more handsome since I have enough energy to groom myself.

Keep my mama away from me.

I have been very sick, and my mama was thinking it was time to let me go to the Rainbow Bridge. I know I was so tired and so cold, but she forgets I still have some of my 9 lives to use up!!!

Actually, mama is taking the bestest care of me! She's making me special food from her and dad's people food - chicken! Nom Nom Nom Nom Nom Nom Nom. She also bought me canned stuff that has no grains in it. Doc thinks I have Inflamatory Bowel Disease, and the grocery store food makes my tummy bad. She's had to give me fluids with a big needle... sometimes she's spot on and it doesn't hurt a bit! It makes me feel so much better, because there is this pink stuff in it now... vitamins that help meowt.

Feeling a little better these days

Wow, I was so sick! I'm really tired and a bit wobbly still, but I think I'm getting better. MY GOODNESS, mommy and daddy are shooting so many pills down my throat, and sticking me with the needle to drip more fluids into me each day. I hope I get all better soon so they can stop fussing over me. It's kind of fun though, one of the pills makes me hungry so they're feeding me more food (well, they always tried to feed me more food, but I was never very hungry for it). Hopefully I'll be more than 7 pounds when they take me to the vet for a checkup in another week or so.
