Poor Kali...

Hi everyone...been a while...I've been pretty sick with my allergies...
had to go back to the vet and got more shots and pills this time...I
was very good taking the pills.. surprised my human...but I figured
she was doing it to get me better...so I swallowed them like a man...
so far it's been working...have been much better....
But Poor Kali...had to go for her grooming..cause she wont let the
humans touch her...so after they rounded her up..they were all worn
out and then off to the groomer from hell...sorry about that word...
don't know another that fits...Kali had a really lot of loose fur and
matts...and the night before she somehow got up on the kitchen table
and smelled the humans lilies she had up there...now Kali is huge and fat..
I don't know how she jumped up there...anyway she scared our human when
she went into the living with all the orangish red stuff all over her
face...the human thought she hurt herself and was bleeding..she she went
off to search...and found the lillies all over the table...anyway back
to the groomer...Our human wanted the lily pollen washed off..and Kali
a bath and dematted and brushed....What happened was the Groomer put
Kali in a big mesh bag and sprayed her with a sprayer...put her soaking
wet into her cage and turned this pipe thing with warm air at her...
When she was picked up she was sopping wet and the pollen was still
there...Our human questioned her...but she evaded her and said..oh
she'll dry when you get her home! The human was mad...but paid and
left....when they got home they tried to dry Kali who was now very
scared..and brushed some....but she was too traumatized and they let
her down.....anyway she'll never go there again....Our human wanted me
to write this for her in case anyone wants to know where NOT to take
your cat for grooming......She is still fuming.....
Except for that drama...everything is fine here..Baby Button is still
a Big cry baby...but we all love her...in fact her and I are becoming
pretty good buddies....If she would just keep her mouth quiet once
in a while...but she will be fifteen in August....so she gets pampered..
Well so do I......Love that fresh catnip from the garden...mmmmmm...

It's been a long time but I'm back....

Well I'll tell you this has been some winter..hasn't it...
I've been feeling down in the dumps lately...can't shake this
bad allergy..sneezing..coughing..I just want to lay around and
sleep...been to the vet for shots a lot...but they wear off too
soon....My human is worried...
I hope when summer comes I'll get some energy back...
Baby Button and Kali are good....Baby is still on her hormone
pills.
Nothing has been happening wonderful to write about...my human
finally got a faster internet...you know without dial-up...she's
really happy...maybe she'll come her more often...
Oh and she got some of these lamps called Hymalayan salt lamps
and she put two in the living room and one in the kitchen..to see
if they will help our allergys....You know it's been two days and
I actually do feel a little better and haven't sneezed so much..
Maybe they will work...sure hope so....

It's my birthday!

Today I am ten years old...but my person says I look and act
so much younger...Of course I do..I'm the Man around here..got
to keep things in order...I have two sisters...Used to have
a brother..Stripe..but he's in heaven now..miss him still...
we all do..
Not much new happening...just this weird Ohio winter..my
person likes it with no snow..I guess I do too..We all just
laze around..playing and sleeping and getting our treats and
catnip..not fresh catnip..but it's good..I like to lay down
on the pile of catnip so no one else can get it...after all
I'm the boss around here...
Still have my allergies..have to go get shots a lot..but they
really help...I just don't like that stick they stick up my
butt...Kali the wild one..still can't act like a real cat..
but we all put up with her...Button is getting up in the years..
she's fourteen now and has to be on those hormones...but she
still acts so much like a baby..hanging on our human...
Well I'm off to take a nap...later

Ouchy...for me

Been a while...but I'm back...A few weeks ago I had to go
to the vet for my allergy shots...and they found..oh I hate
to talk about it...a bad tooth...Oh My....I had to have it
removed and my teeth cleaned and had to stay at the vet for
a couple days....It was soooo traumatic...Couldn't wait to
get back home..but then it was awful too...I had to take this
really bad tasting medicine for a couple weeks....TWO times
a day....that was about the badest thing that ever happened
to me....I'm over it now...just hope it doesn't happen again..
Other than that..things are pretty good here...Winters coming
and we don't look forward to that ....Button is fine...as long
as she takes her medicine...she is doing really good for an
old girl of fourteen...we are actually kind of pals now....
Kali is the same...still a big fraidy cat...she will need
grooming soon....Well that's about it from here...but there
is something I want to say....Why do all the other cats talk
funny? My owner says if we can't use good English...we
shouldn't write stuff...all those mispelled words and stuff...
what is that? Well just wondering...every cat is different..
I'll write later if something is happening around here...

K.C. is Back......

It's been a long time since I've written....but not much
happening...Well..kinda...I had to go to the vet this week
for another or..two shots for my sneezing...started up again..
I feel better now....Baby Button had to go too..she had a
lump on her tummy..our human was worried as she is almost
fourteen years old....It turns out she has a hernia..it's
not real bad yet...but our human must keep an eye on it...
Baby is still on her hormones....Haven't been doing much..
enjoying all that fresh catnip and grass...yumm...Oh yeah..
Kali has started letting our human..the one she trusts pet
her..yeah..she actually likes it...our human can go all the
way to her tail and oh she loves the massage....Our human
still has to be careful because when Kali had enough she
still comes at you with those claws...
Most of the time we just lay around in front of the fans or
on our humans bed with the air conditioner on...or in our
boxes...we love boxes and grocery bags to lay on...and get
long drinks right out of the faucet..so cool and refreshing..
Well that's about it from here....take a look at my new

I'm all well now...

Wow..I've been sick for sooo long...finally the Vet found
the right medicine...I feel sooo good...no more coughing
and sneezing..I'm all full of sillys I'm sooo happy....
Running around chasing my little balls in the kitchen..
Picking on my sisters...acting soo goofy..cause I feel soo
good....Love this weather..my human opens all the doors and
windows for us and it feels sooo good and we can bird watch &
watch leaves blowing on the porch...and we are getting some
fresh new grass..love that stuff..next to catnip...

I'm Sorry if I missed thanking someone.....but......

All this attention is sooo overwelming...I tried to paw
out all my thank yous..but got all meoweed mixed up on who
I thanked....Sooo many friends out there...WoW!....
So this is one big THANK YOU to everyone...
I am feeling better today...and sooo loved....and if I
missed accepting you as my friend..I'm so sorry..write me
again purreese...and oh...Kali said she may write a diary
soon telling what it's like being feral..but she's scared..
I don't think Button will..but maybe..she's such a big mommys
baby..crying all the time and hanging on her...so spoiled..
We'll see..in the meantime I'll keep you posted on what's
going on around this place...I Love to write......

Wow..I feel better now ...Thanks

As you been reading..I've been a little under the weather
with my coughing and sneezing...And you just made me feel so
good...and the Vet too..went to him yesterday and he said I
probably have a virus...got two shots..ugh I hate those..and
can you believe..kitty cough drops..well they're pills..I
only sneezed twice today..but yesterday I was so down..I was
stressed out just going to the kitty doctor..but I just know
I'll be better now..keep you paws crossed for me...

Achoo!!! Oh..these allergys

I have been sneezing so much...I am stuffed up and it's not
much fun...The first time I went to the Vet he couldn't find
anything wrong..had blood tests and stuff...So he said it was
allergys...I don't know..but I am miserable...may have to go
back...my human is going to stop by his office to get Baby
Button her hormone pills this week and she told me she would
ask him about me again...must be something that could help me..
does anyone out there know or have the same problem...???
Anyway..things around here are pretty boring in the Winter..
I just sleep a lot...and put up with Baby Buttons nonsense..
crying and hanging on our human..she is sooo needy...Kali
the wild one only comes out from behind the couch (her cave)
at night and she finally has learned how to play with a mouse
on a stick..she never played before..our human is so happy...
although she still wont let anyone too close to her..even our
human mother...Well this is not a very exciting entry..perhaps
I'll feel better later.....
