Dear Friends,
So glad you're doing better!!! You with CRF, me with FeLV, us Tiggers have to sitck togeather!!! That is SO GOOD to hear Uncle Tigger!! GREAT news for you and your parents. Makes us so happy that you are doing so well. Very impressed that you were able to gain weight back. YAY!! Keep it up Uncle Tigger! Don't let them take your blood pressure on Saturday either. MOL! Love, Zack & Zoey Yes, us Tiggers need to stick together! (((Tigger))) MOL Zacky! It warms Mom's heart to know I've got fight left in me. he he Yaay Tigger! So happy to hear the good news about your blood test results being so good. And it's great that you're eating and even gained some weight too! I have CRF too and had my blood pressure taken. They hooked me up to a machine, did a test check first and then did 6 *real* tests one after the other. Then I went back a week later and had the same thing done over again. Talk about stress! And after all that rigamarole, my BP was normal! Mommy had my Pepcid made into an ear gel (which can get tricky 'cause my medication for hyperthyroidism is also an ear gel). It's taken the stress out of giving me oral medications but we're not sure yet how well the Pepcid is working as an ear gel. Hugs, Kaci Hi Kaci! :) I had my blood pressure checked last year several times. Most of the time I cooperate, but this time I was over it! MOL My last BP check was normal on medication. So, the vet isn't too concerned that the vet techs weren't able to get it this time. Mom wonders if the ear gel would work for me, but thinks I might groom it off? Let me know if it works as an ear gel for you. Hugs, Tigger Pawsome news, pal! We're so happy that your weight is back, and things are going good. Keep up the good work! Did they try to take your blood pressure on your tail? I think that is how they used to take Sugar's blood pressure. Isn't that weird? MOL! Hi Gleek! No, they said to Mom that they took it on my paw. Is the tail a better option? Glad your vet visit went well! Glad you are doing so well, Tigger!! I use to get my blood pressure taken on my tail like Gleek's, sis, Sugar. I don't think either option is that great. MOL! But the Vet would always take it multiple times and after the first few, I seemed to get use to the feeling of it. Maybe the newer thing is to now take it on the paw. Maybe they could try both. Or maybe neither! Keep up the good work Tigger. Take care, my friend. I will always be purring for you to be well. Love Always, Angel Rocky Ann HOORAY!!! HAPPY RIVER DANCES!!! That's the best news we've heard all day! Such good news coming from your vet appointment! So wonderful that your weight is up too! Yay! Hi Tigger! The vet used to take my blood pressure on my tail. She would take me to a separate room and sit with me to relax me a little bit. She always took it a couple of times. Undiagnosed high blood pressure is what caused me to be almost totally blind. My other parents (Mawmee's parents) didn't know about this, but that is why my eyes used to look so big and dilated. Hi Angel Sugar! Thank you for letting me know about your blood pressure checks being done on your tail. Mom will ask the vet about taking it on my tail, maybe I'll do better with that. I currently take liquid Norvasc for my high blood pressure. The last three bp checks I had, my blood pressure was normal on the medication. I think that is why the vet is okay with me waiting until the 2nd to have another check. :) Love, Tigger |
