Hi Friends,

My test results are in. I have CRF (chronic renal failure) in the beginning stage. We knew that with my being 17, I could develop an age-related disease. Mom is going to pick up some special food for me at my vet's today, and also request my panel numbers. She can't recall what Dr. Ginny said on the phone regarding my numbers; she went blank after she heard "kidney disease".

There's never a good time for this to happen, but for Mom to find out right after Taylor crossing the Bridge is so hard. Mom has some researching to do about CRF. She wants to find out if there are any good supplements for me and how to keep me comfortable.

Dude, I am only 5 and I have CRF..but it is from a congenital thingy the vet said...so we can learn this stuff together...mom is on what seems like an endless journey to find a food that is good for me that I agree is good and will eat, LOL gotta keep her on her toes..

the crew is purrrrrrring for ya dude, that you won't be as picky as me!
