Too much snow!

So Meowmie and Daddy are on vacation to visit family over the holidays, they'll be home in a week though! It's been real quiet here, except for Bug being obnoxious as always! We've had a cat sitter, but he isn't always here because it's been snowing like crazy outside! So sometimes he can't make it here, but that's alright. I heard we got over 62 inches of snow in december which breaks records... all I know is that I'm glad I'm an indoor kitty! I'd sink in all that snow. =o.O=

Mewf... I write too rarely!

I notice I don't write very often, there's always so much going on I don't have time to write and still take my naps! Mrrf! Meowmie and daddie are fostering some kittens, which means I don't get to roam the kitchen and living room for now. I dont like the kittens and meowmie dislikes it when I growl and hiss at them. But that's just fine with me... I only wish they'd have stuck Bug in there with them! He's such a pest! It's getting colder now, I look forward to meowmie coming to bed, because she pushes buttons that make the bed all cozy and warm! During the day I just sneak up onto the lizard's cage to lay by his heat lamp... it's nice and warm. Meowmie got mad the first few times I did that because she worried I'd burn myself, Mrrr! Nonsense! I think she finally checked it and realized it didn't get hot enough to burn anyone, so she lets me sleep there now. Bug's not allowed to though, he's too fat! Mewhaha! I hear one of my meowmie's sisters is coming to visit soon, she calls me Princess Patches, so I think I will enjoy her visit!

Flying; New home!!

=^_^= Meow! Been off for a while and it's time I updated! Flying up here to my human was extensively weird. I don't think I want to do THAT again... but it was worth it in the end! I like my new home too, I'm the only cat! Plus there's mice! =^_^= yay! Of course the three pet mice I'm not allowed to mess with, but I found a different mouse and killed it! My humans were so confused too because they didn't know where it came from, mewhaha! I suppose the only downside to being here is I have to wear this collar all the time, something I never did back with my human's parents... it kinda itches. =O_o= Oh well... I met the neighbors' little dog too, he's smaller than me and I scared him! Mrrf! How funny that was. He barks too much. Anyways I'm going to go stare at the mice again... Mewmew!

Ahhh the vet...

Friday I had to go to my first vet appoinment for the week... I say that because I have to go to another one up where my human is. Mffft. Oh well.. this appointment wasn't too bad... first time I had to go without my human. So the parents took me, it was a different vet too than usual.. so that was weird. I buried my face in "mom's" side as much as I could. They gave me shots and then poked and prodded me because I needed a "Health Certificate" to fly. Then they took my picture too which I was grumpy about because I only like my human taking pictures of me. Any pictures of me that my human didn't take I usually have a highly annoyed look in them, haha! You can tell which pictures on here were by my human and which weren't. =^_^=

Oh, I found out that I may have a car companion going up to the city, where I have to stay overnight before flying. The car companion is another cat that apparently is a very loud car companion. Grand.. oh well. I'm a nice quiet car companion, and hopefully will be on the 'plane' thing too. We shall see!

One week to go!

Yes, you heard right! One more week and I will fly up to be with my human, finally! I hear she got me lots of new stuff like cardboard scratching boxes! Of course... I have to endure TWO visits to those "vets"... one here and one when I get up there... ugh. Wish me luck in all that madness. Mrrf! Meanwhile back here at the house things got really weird. My human left again back in December... that was expected mostly. Then another of the humans left a month ago... and then the two parents left a few weeks ago! Now there's only one human left! Wonder what's going on? I heard things about an "internship" from one... and the two parents said something about an anniversary for gramma and papa... err... I think gramma and papa were the two older humans that came last summer for a while. *twitches tail* Well those humans better come wish me goodbye before I leave!!! Mrf... humans....

I get to fly!

I finally heard that I'm going to fly up to Washington to be with my human! It's about time! These humans are so slow. Looks like at the end of June one of my human's friends will take me up there by plane. Wow.. I've never been in these things called "planes" before.. hopefully it's not too scary! But at least I'll be with my human after the plane ride.

Meanwhile I have taken to following around one of the humans, but I like to stay just out of her reach! It bugs her to no end, and I find that quite amusing. Wish I could go walking on my leash more often... but since my human had to leave I dont get to as much. The other humans don't want to take me out. Probably because I don't like walking for them, haha. Oh well.. once again that will change once I get back to my human! Wish me luck in flying!

Well.. time's still passing

Well my human did come home for a little while, but she and her hubby got in a bad car wreck... that was scary. But at least they were ok, but unfortunately because of that I couldn't go with them like we had planned. So I'm still here at my person's parent's house with my 2 sibs and the older two cats. It's ok, but I really miss my human... and so to show everyone how badly I wanted to go to her, I shredded all the plastic off the windows in the house. I think they put the plastic there to help keep out the winter cold. But that ought to have relayed my message quite well. =^_^= I think I heard that in April I might be doing this thing called "flying" with my human's sister up to wherever my human is. I thought "flying" was what birds did... I didn't realize I could fly... hmm... Oh well, there's a while til that happens... for now I've been intently stalking this mouse that seems to be living under the oven...

I hope this doesn't dicourage my human...

So my person is finally coming home Friday! I'm sooo excited! My person's parents opened her old bedroom to set up a bed for her ... and I snuck in. The bed that was being set up was one I had never seen before called an "inflatable" bed. So once it was all set up I had to test it! I jumped on and stretched out my claws.. it felt so cool! So I kept playing with it and it started shrinking! Eventually it was all flat again! That was really weird. So I called the humans to inflate it again, but when they came in they got all mad. I'm not sure what I did, but the bed hasn't been back yet.

Funny considering the bed that -had- been in that room was a waterbed.. and I shredded it when my human left because I was mad. And now they say I shredded this "inflatable" bed as well... hope that doesn't keep my human from coming home...

Meditation is good for cats too!

Over the past few weeks my owner's mom, who I am currently staying with (my human will be home in a week!), has started this thing called 'Meditation.' She puts these things in her ears and turns on a "tape" of this soft music and really soothing voice. She tried to go in her room alone to do this, but of course I hate any closed door and persist on being let in until she lets me. So anymore she just assumes I'm coming in too an closes the door behind us. Makes me happy, I get alone time with her without the other annoying cats around to barge in. So anyways, back to this 'meditation' stuff. She closes her eyes and just listens to the music and voice.. So I sit with her and listen too. Sometimes she pets me.. it is very relaxing this 'meditation' stuff. If your human does it you should join them.

One time while meditating I got curious... she seemed so 'into' this 'meditative state' thing.. and so I bit her (lightly!) to see what she'd do. She jumped, opened her eyes and just laughed at me. =^_^= Then this other time she put in a breathing exercise 'tape' and was listening to it... I was fine with that but she kept breathing funny, and in different ways. I just stared at her. Then at one point she did this weird freaky "he he he he" breathing noise and it freaked me out.. I thought she was dying or something!!! So I went crazy til she stopped and turned off the 'tape.' So if your human tries these 'breathing exercise' things, you shouldn't let them! It just doesn't seem natural!
