Arrival Story:
We were at a pet store just looking around, I was mainly looking at the puppys but my husband and his mom went off by themselves. And Tim(my husband) came over and said babe come here, so I went with him and they were trying to show me an all grey cat they had there(since thats what ive always wanted) but i wasnt paying any attention to it, I saw chloe and that was it I was not about to walk out of that store without her. When I saw her colors I knew I wanted her, they let me hold her and she didn't try to get away she just got comfortable and thats how i walked out of that store. I did wind up later on getting a grey cat though.

Bio:
Chloe was diagnosed with Fibrosarcoma in May 2008. She has VAS(Vaccine Associated Sarcoma). It is cancer that you get from vaccines. She got it from her rabies shot. As a result we had to have her right rear leg amputated in an attempt to save her life. She had her leg amputated along with half of her pelvis on May 6th, 2008. The oncologist said without surgery she would only have 3 months or so to live, and with the surgery probably a year or it could take care of it. So we opted for the surgery to do everything we could to save our baby. She is doing great since her amputation and I have not felt any new lumps on her since and she is walking and running and getting around great for only having 3 legs. She truly amazes me everyday with the things that she does. She is still the same great amazing sweet kitty there is despite all she has been through. If you want to know more about VAS you can contact me.
