Wow, I've never had this honor before: Catster listed me as one of the Daily Diary Picks!

So I am going to use this as an opportunity to tell everyfurr about Treats on Demand. You should start training your human to quickly dole out those treats the minute you desire a tasty morsel.

This involves pawing at treat jars, nuzzling, yowling, pawing your human, pushing treat jars off of tables etc. All cats deserve their Treats on Demand.... just remember : T O D - TREATS ON DEMAND!!!

I was tagged

I was tagged by my friends Penelope and Ashlynne, and I'm going to list 5 annoying things my humans do. Then I am to tag 5 friends.

1. I hate it when they brush my teeth! My number 1 pet peeve
2. Sometimes they just don't get it when i ask for treats on demand. My new program, Treats on Demand (TOD) is a plan to train my humans to open that treat jar when I paw at the jar or push it off the table. But sometimes they are just too dense.
3. I get very annoyed when they stay out late, and get home after 8 pm. Where is my dinner?!!!
4. I want my cuddles on demand too! My human thinks she can set the cuddle schedule.
5. I get very annoyed when my humans say that I am too demanding. I am just asking them to do what is expected.

I am tagging Mickey, Kitcat,Hailey, Thai Pie and Minnie.

I hate teeth brushing- update on Treats on Demand Program

I don't know why my parents INSIST on brushing my teeth. I do my best to make it difficult - I squirm like an eel and run when they try to catch me! But they did say I have nice clean gums and teeth today.

My sister Rusty and I are working on a Treats on Demand (TOD) program. This involves constant meowing, and pawing the various treat jars located strategically throughout the home. I sometimes even push the jar off the table to get their attention! I think it might be working. We are able to get positive action (opening of treat jar and dispensing stinky goodness) 65% of the times when we meow or paw at the treat jar. Our goal is to get this up to 100% of the time.

How to Train your Human

My mom is pretty bright for a human. I've trained her to lift up the bedcovers for me to let me burrow under the blankets. When i nudge her on the left side, she knows that I want to be under a "tent" so she raises her knees. If I nudge her right side, she knows that I want to burrow right under the bed spread. She is so smart that she will even respond to my command when she is asleep.

Hissy Fit

Last Friday, my big sister Rusty went to the vet to get her teeth cleaned and maybe a tooth extraction. She came back all silly from the kitty drugs, and she smelled like the v*t! So I let her know that i don't like that vet smell, that it makes me mad and I hissed at her whenever possible. I'm done hissing for now. Though by today I wasn't sure exactly why I was mad.

Today, I was running so fast and was so carried away that when I took a leap into the cat tree, I smacked into the pole just like you see in the cartoons! Smack! I was just a little stunned. My mom yelled out "Are you OK?" and when she realized I was, she started laughing at me. that's no way to treat royalty!

Why am I limping?

My mom noticed today that I'm limping. Actually, my guardians thought I might be limping a couple of days ago, but weren't sure. Today, it was much worse. Of course, this doesn't stop tonks from racing around, jumpting on shoulders and so on. But my gait is now gimpy. They called the vet, and said I have to take a tiny bit of baby aspirin, and get warm compresses on my right shoulder. I wonder if I've escaped a trip to the vet?

My guardian got a new i=pod docking stereo. I don't know why she would want to listen to her i pod when she can listen to me sing instead. Anyway, she is somewhat technically challenged. I sat on her shoulder and supervised her attempts to get the stereo to work. What would humans do without supervision?

My Mom was sick

My poor Mom got sick. She came back from a weeklong vacation, and two hours after coming through the front door, she got very ill indeed. She had to go to a human veterinary clinic called the emergency room! I knew that after she came back from the ER, she wasn't up to playing with me or anything that. So I just stayed near her while she slept. After afew days she began to perk up again, thank goodness! So now we get to play again. Yipeeee!

My guardian knows that I love the variety of new toys. Today she brought home some new fly fishing toys that she got from HDW Enterprises. These are real fly lures, except no hook. The one today is this real outrageous purple strip of fur with beady little eyes and rubbery legs... It is soooo cool!!!!
