 We went to the Adopt-A-Thon not really expecting to come home with a cat. We were just "looking" for a possible playmate for Landon, but no one promised anything. I saw you laying on the lap of an older woman with the adoption center and told your daddy to go get the crate because I'd found Landon's playmate. I held you in my arms and you purred with approval. You came home and boy, did you show Landon who was boss (despite the fact she's your older sister!). Eventually, you two became friends and watching you two grow together made my life so extraordinary. The joy I get from you and your sister is amazingly high. Oh, Hadley, I love the way you wake me up at seven every morning with your purring and desire to be petted. And the way you demand I follow you at nine every morning to the treatjar where you tell me how you deserve a greenie. I love you so much for all you've done for me, for the way you brighten my days and evenings. Thank you, Hadley, for loving me. Goodness knows I'll love you for the rest of my life.
New Life.October 13th 2005 8:09 pm[ Leave A Comment ] My new life is really great. I have so many fun toys and places to sleep. I also love my new mommy & daddy who really love me so much. The best part, though, is having my new big sister, Landon Dakota. Sometimes we still argue but we love to kiss and snuggle and play together (and we can play together for hours!). She's so great. Dont' tell her I said that, though, I still like to act tough because I'm bigger than her.
