Can't believe the weather

Do you believe that it's been in the 80's for the pass week. What happened to Spring? It's too early for this type of weather, and I've been shedding like crazy. Mom sees short black hair all over the place mol. I'm getting ready for my summer coat. Moms eyes has been itchy and she's been sneezing. That doesn't stop her for picking me up and giving me hugs and kisses and we dance in the kitchen. I love dancing with mom...we have lots of fun together. Mom tries to pick up Poppy...but she doesn't like to be picked up...she will meow very loud...as mom hears it....please, please, please let me down.

Getting back to the weather, today the temperature dropped 20 degrees. We went from the 80's to the 60's in just 24 hours. And it rained most of the day. Boo hoo....mom had to close the kitchen window tonight as it was getting a little chilly.

To my Catster Family and Friends, I want to thank all of you for sending me all those nice gifts, comments and pawmail. Mom has no internet connection...so she is on her cell phone typing this diary entry for me. What she does for me and my family is wonderful....as she loves us very much. You know maybe mom knew the internet was going to be down...so that's why she put my birthday picture up...plus she wasn't home this morning. Thank you all again. My Angel Ricki and I are in Paris. Now how romantic is that? My Angel Ricki is the best furhusband a furgirl could have. Love, Midnight

Happy New Year

Hello to all my Catster Family and Friends,

My family and I would like to wish everyone a Happy New year.

It's be quite a year for us and it went very first....so many things has happened. It was a happy year for Poppy....finding a handsome furgentlemen named Big Harry. Do you believe that it started out on a night time snack. Poppy is the one that asked Big Harry for that night time snack. I really didn't think she had it in her to ask him out....that little stinker. Mom and I thought she was the shy one....but we are wrong on that one. Tonight she is flying over to Florida to celebrate the new year with Big Harry.
My Angel Prince will fly in a little while to spend time with mom and me. We will bring in the new year and mom will be snoring away by 10:00 mol.

On October 26th, my grandma passed away. Mom was saying that she didn't suffer....she went into cardiac arrest. Mom is happy that she didn't suffer and she said that is the best way to go. It is just so hard on the people that she left behind. She was a wonderful wife, mother, (grandma to us), and a wonderful friend to everyone. We miss and love you so much and you will be in our hearts forever and memories of you will never die.

On November 8th it's been one year since our Sammie passed away. We miss her every day and she will be in our hearts forever.

It's almost two months since grandma passed away

My goodness!!!! I haven't written for a long time. Mom has been keeping herself pretty busy around here. She already sent out her Christmas cards and she is just about done with her Christmas shopping. We are so thankful that we have wonderful friends and we want to thank all of you for our wonderful Christmas presents. We have been having so much fun.

Next Sunday will be 2 months since our grandma passed away. Mom is getting depressed again....Christmas is around the corner and she wishes that her mom was still here.

Poppy and I will try to keep her spirit up, as we know how difficult this is for mom.

It's been kind of quiet around here

Mom has been very sad, since my grandma passed away. I can see on how much she misses grandma. I've been giving her lots and kisses, hugs and purring away like mad. Yesterday mom was in a happy mood because she knew that grandma remains will be home. So I took my cat nip mouse, threw it up in the air...I was 2 feet off the ground. When I got the mouse I brought it to mom in the kitchen, and you should of seen mom smile when I did that. That made me feel better to see her smile.

Dad went to pick grandma up today, and he told mom that he had a nice conversation with her. Mom asked what did they talk about...he wouldn't tell mom what the conversation was about. It took awhile for mom to go say Hello to grandma. She finally did and said Hello and I miss and love you. Mom is sad and happy that grandma is home.

Outdoors

Hmmmm!!! Something very interesting happen to me on Sunday. I'm am a indoor cat only...mom wouldn't dare let me outside. As she is too afraid that I may get hurt or get hit by a car.

Well, on Sunday....mom was sitting outside enjoying the sun, and all of a sudden she looked up and saw me in my dad's arms. I didn't try to get away, I just looked around and laid in my dad's arms. It was nice to see the world upside down and to explore the outdoors in my dad's arms. I was only outside for not even five minutes.

An update on trying to get that darn accordion door open: This morning mom saw me by the door as I was trying to open the door...guess what? Yes, I finally got it opened...well, mom saw this and came running and told me no..so I slowly walked away with my head down. I will keep on trying and one day I will get it opened.

I'm one curious kitty cat

Dad had to put up a accordion door in between the living room and dining room...so Poppy and I could not get into the living room. As we are not allow in there. Well, for several weeks I have been trying to figure out on how to open the door. The problem is, there is a latch on the bottom of the door. This morning I decided to try to open the door...was just curious to see if I could do it. I did it, I opened the door and Poppy and I had a field day. You should of seen mom chasing us out of there..we certainly gave her a run for her money. Now they fixed the door so there is not gap in between...now I can't put my paw in between the door to open it. We will see...now I have to think about it. Mom knows I will probably figure something out.
