I'm in hiding until after Halloween.

Hi everyone. This is Marina. I know you can't see me. I'm hiding under the bed. Mommy was watching the World Series last night. I don't like the world series. It's too scary. Everyone is making lots of noise. And last night mommy was screaming and hollering and crying and laughing. I got really scared and ran away. She said she's watching the last game tonight so I won't have to be scared anymore after tonight. I said, "What about Halloween?" She said I don't have to be scared of that either. I can stay in the bedroom while she gives out candy. Fine by me. I'll just stay there from now until Tuesday. Have a great weekend everyone!

I turned 7 yesterday

I want to thank all my friends for their wonderful Happy Birthday wishes. It made my birthday special and a little more joyful than expected.

We are still in shock about learning of the passing of our dear friend, Michelle Brunner, Catster mommy to Toulouse McNoNo. Since Tosca and I have everything a kitty could want (except a floor to ceiling cat tree), I told mommy I didn't want any birthday pressents this year. Instead, I want her to make a donation to the Siamese Cat Rescue in Michelle's name. Michelle would have loved that.

Mommy couldn't let me go completely without a birthday treat. As my happy birthday pressie from her, she cleaned off the coffee table (usually a catch-all surface of items she'll deal with later), and cleaned it with lemon furniture polish. I love to roll around on a freshly cleaned lemon surface. It's like catnip for me.

Thank You!

I want to thank all my friends for the wonderful birthday wishes. I didn't do anything special but I did enjoy the extra snuggles from mommy. Love you all!

Jill's Visit is over

Hi everyone. It was wonderful meeting Jill, Truman's mommy, and the family. I wasn't too fond of Addie because she is loud and small. Mommy did tell me a very funny story about her though.

At home, Addie has a piggy bank. When she puts in the coins she says "my money." Mommy took the family out to a local farm to visit the animals. At one point Addie was saying hi to all the animals: "hi buppie, hi kiki, hi my money."

It was nice having people visit and play with us but we are glad to have the peace and quiet back.

We hope this will help all furs and their families understand what's in their food. There are some holes that need to be filled but hopefully, with your help, we can get those filled soon. Pet Parents: Please be responsible drivers

Grannie's best friend died yesterday. She ran off the road then over corrected. She went right then left, she spun clockwise then went right again. She hit a ditch, hit a fence, flipped, was thrown from the car and died at the scene. Mommy knows she was a good driver. She was a long-distance truck driver. This day she was in her car. Mommy thinks she fell asleep at the wheel and woke up once she hit the right shoulder. She wasn't wearing her seatbelt and she didn't have insurance on her car. Thank God no one else was involved.

Please tell your parents to be careful and wear seatbelts. And don't drive tired. It's not worth losing their lives.

Oops, I lied.

Looks like I ate the foil afterall. Guess mommy will have to keep an eye on me too. I sure hope I don't have to go to the vet tomorrow. Today was bad enough.

I bit the vet, and she deserved it!

Mommy grilled chicken last night. She wrapped the pieces in foil so they wouldn't burn but they would still have that good grilled taste. Last night Tosca got into the trash and ate the foil. Mommy didn't know which one of us did it although she thought it was Tosca. *gives Tosca a dirty look* Mommy decided it was a good idea to take both of us to the vet.

The vet was busy, busy. There were dogs there and cats. They even had a horse that they called "a mastif." I hissed and spit and growled. I dealt with it all day. Finally I couldn't take it anymore. The last time the vet took me out of the cage, I bit her. That's right, I bit the vet. *dances* I bit the vet, I bit the vet, I bit the vet.

Mommy was wondering why it took so long for me and Tosca to come to the front. She was stunned when they came out with two carriers instead of the one we came in. They told her it was just safer this way because I was so upset. You bet I was upset. I had to spend all day at the vet and there was nothing wrong with me. *hissssssssss*

I'm back home now and I'm a bit on edge but I'm trying to get in a nap and forget the day.
