Arrival Story:
I worked for Child Protective Services. An investigator went to a home to remove some children from squalid conditions. When she arrived, the children were not there, but there were dead kittens everywhere. When she left the house, there was one skinny kitten sitting on the porch. When no one was looking, she picked him up and took him with her. My co-workers knew I was a sucker for a cute furry face, so it didn't take much to talk me into taking him home!
