Arrival Story:
Scout was born at a house next to a stable. There were already too many cats there, so he and his brother were run off by older cats and started living at another house on the property. At that house, the kids would chase the kittens under the wood pile and then jump up and down on to fo the woodpile, terrorizing them. He road home snuggled up next to me in the truck. Buddy was very displeased; I thought he was going to hurt *me* for bringing another cat into his domain, but thankfully we made peace. To this day, Scout is terrified of children and will do anything he can to avoid them.

Bio:
Scout has a brother, Buddy, who used to blog here. Scout picked his own name. He had several choices which were written on pieces of paper and crumpled up. When tossed on the floor, he chose the one that said "Scout", which was originally Steve's idea. Good thing, because "neurotic basket case of unbearably cute fluffiness" would get kinda long.
