Bio:
Full name: Charles Hurst. Best friend: Michael, Baby, Daddy. Astrological sign: Scorpio. Favorite NFL team: None, he prefers the cheerleaders. Instruments played: Flute, accoustic guitar, piano, plastic spoons. Voted: Most studious, Most artistic, Most gullible. We really have no idea how old he is. We've had him since November of 1998, and she'd had him at least since she bought our house in 1996, so we estimate him to be between 10 and 12 years. He's extremely timid and effeminate (I think). He's afraid of me, though, for some stupid reason. So, my parents refer to me as "Scary Girl" around him.

My First Bridgiversary

Today is the first anniversary of my crossing over to the rainbow bridge. Just 365 days ago today, I was laying in my daddy's arms and breathing my last few breaths as he rubbed me and told me how much he loved me. I passed away just after midnight that night. I wish I could thank my daddy in person for easing my transition from earth to heaven. I wasn't scared or in pain, just very weak and heavy hearted about leaving my family behind. I'm doing so well now, though! If only they could see me, I know they would be happy for me and maybe not miss me so much.

This was my first Christmas away from my family and back with Peggy, my original owner, on the bridge. I hope my family could feel all the warm holiday wishes I was sending their way. It was nice seeing my stocking hanging on the tree next to Broey's old one. He and I exchanged our own gifts that day with lots of purrs and head bumps. What else do you need?

Purrs from the Bridge

As of midnight this morning I have crossed the Rainbow Bridge into heaven. It's been a difficult struggle for me against CRF, but I fought it well and even had some good moments over the last few days of my life. I passed away peacefully in my daddy's arms. I wasn't in pain or suffering, but rather I was comforted because I knew I was loved. I even kneaded Daddy's arm ever so slightly while he was holding me. I was very happy on earth and I will be just as happy up in heaven, if not more so. I get to see Chrissy, Brandy, Bro, Velvet, and Joy again (and maybe my old friend Gulliver, although I'm not sure yet if he's on the bridge or not). I also get to be reunited with my original owner, Peggy. She was such an amazing lady and I'm proud to have been loved by her while she was here with us! I know I'll see all my remaining earthly friends soon, and until then I will be keeping a close and loving eye on them, and send them all a million purrs from the bridge!
