Still Missing Him

Well, it's been a while since I lost my buddy. Abercrombie and Lovebug are settled in, but I can't forget Murphy. I want to give special thanks to his buddy, Domino for being so supportive. But even with Domino, it still hurts because I've had Mr. Murph all my life. I've gotten over it, but it's still sad. I didn't go with him to the vet to get put to sleep, but that doesn't mean I abandoned him when he needed me... did I? Was I disloyal?

Goodbye

Murphy passed away a few days ago. I will miss him very much and I wish I had taken the opportunity to go wiht him to the vets when he got put to sleep. I debated over it for about an hour, and decided not to. I wish I had gone at least to say goodbye. I couldn't even take him home for a while becuase he was originally at the vets for boarding.
A few days later, we recived a sympathy card from the vet. Somehow, that made things better and worse at the same time. It made me remember that he was gone for good, but also it let me know that at least the staff there cared about him.

Sickk!

Uh-oh... my family went away for a weekend and they left me at the vet. The vet gave me some medicine and a few shots. When they wieghed me, I was only 9 pounds! My thyroid is worse than ever, and there is only so much time that I can live on pills.
Hey everyone! This is Murph's owner. I am very scared for him, and I hope that he does not have to suffer at any point in time. Murphy is currently fifteen years old, and is still very happy. I hate leaving him at the vet or at home for the weekend with a nieghbor coming in to feed him. I never know what I will find back home... because I know he is slowly dying. I will miss him very much, and I can only hope that he remains happy as possible. As long as he has food 'round the clock, he can stay happy. Murph has no teeth left, and I worry constantly about him.

Holliday Poem

Everyone should have friends to be thankful for,
everyone should have family.
If you don't, then get some!
Why not? It isn't that hard
to get a cute, cuddly cat.
From a shelter.
And when you do,
remember, that by adopting your
new friend, that
you're saving a life.
The cats left on streets have no
family, or a bed.
But then the shelter picks them up.
But, how does the shelter know
about the kitty who's
loose on the street?
You called and told them.
You should always alert
the SPCA about a stray.
For it has many dangers that may
come across its path.
So, be thankful
for your home, food and bed.
Because other sweet and kind-hearted
cats and dogs have almost nothing to be
thankful for.
So, if you can, adopt someone.
You never know...
you could be saving a life.

Scary

Today the door was left open, and my owners were afraid that I had ran away. But, no, I was just taking a nap on the bed. One of my owners even thought for a moment that I had ran away to die. She was very worried and extremely relived to find me sleeping.
Another scary story...
Halloween... trick-or-treaters were everywhere. Ringing the doorbell nonstop, and scaring the living daylights out of me. My own kids were out there somewhere as well. But I don't know where they went, for they only rang our doorbell when they came in for the night.

Top Picks

WoW, my diary is one of the top picks. I think it came in second place, I don't know why this is, but I really don't understand why everybody on catster likes me so much. I only have one photo, and not many feline friends. Why does everyone give me 5 paws? It's really thoughtful and everything, but my canine sister has 3 photos, more friends, and has been on dogster longer than I have been on catster! I'm not trying to sound ungrateful, it's just that I'm curious. This is really great, I have one of the top picks. Congragulations to all the cats that have been cat of the week, or have had the diary of the day, or been cat of the day! I am very excited, as being one of the top picks may get me more pals.

Picky Picky

That's me, never being able to decide on what to eat. Today is the perfect example. I was just wolfing down my Fancy Feast when suddenly, Dotty shoved me out of the way! I was given a new can of the exact same thing, but I refused to eat it! My people got kind of annoyed at me, so I decided to eat it. Dot was pretty unhappy, because if I REALLY refuse to eat my food, she normally gets it. I wonder why she never eats her own food, but eats everyone else's; mine, her friends, and all the people's food.

Time to go take an afternoon nap,
