2. What kind of food do you eat? Anything I want now. I luff chicken & turkey, ice cream, & milk stuff.

4. Do you have a Valentine or significant other?? Nope, I was always a catfirmed catchelorette. But, maybees Max will bees my Bridge Beau.
5. Do you get Table Scraps? Yep, whenever I could beg or sneak them.
6. What is your favorite toy? Little heart-shaped catnip mousies. I would carry them around & yowl wif my mouf full.
7. When is your Birthday? June 1, 1990. Bridge day - January 17, 2009.
8. How many times a day do you get to eat? Anytime I get hungry!! Aftur all, dis is da Bridge. Fud is efurrywhere!
9. Do you have a favorite color? I like the color of my meowmie's coat - whichever one was on da chair dat day, MOL.

Hello From the Bridge!

I just want all my purr friends to know that I arrived safely. One minute I was feeling meowmie's tears on my fur & the next I was free of all my pains & standing in sunshine!

It's bootiful here. My buddy Chevy & sisfurs Nichole & Ciji were there to greet me. And all my angel friends from BCCP were there to show me all the good places to lay in the sun! The grass is so green & soft, it's wonderpurr to lay on.

There are birdies & mice all over to chase, but we haf to be gentle - this is their heaven too. There is plenty of catfood to eat, we don't hafta kill fur owr food. There is milk & cream for the asking - oh, & cheese to munch & icy cream to lick. It's a wonderpurr place to wait fur meowmie to join me.

Well, my friends - Chevy is wanting to go cuddle, so I hafta go fur now. But, I'll be back later to tell you more of this bootiful place.

My Reservation is Made

I will be journeying to da Rainbow Bridge on Satfurday, January 17th. Meowmie knows it's time, for I'm haffing troubles walking & cleaning myself. I'm still eating, but sumtimes I'm picky. I groan & moan & I'm grumpier than usual.

Meowmie says she doesn't want to see me suffering so much. I haven't been back up on my chair fur 2 days - I can't even climb the steps meowmie got fur me anymore. I haf a comfy bed on the floor, & all I do now is sleep. Sumtimes I look up to see what's going on, but not furry often anymore.

It's time. I let meowmie know that & she luffs me so much she is going to giff me my ticket to da Bridge where I can run & play agin. I luffs mew, Meowmie.

I made it to 2009! Woo Hoo!

Let's see - Meowmie is still clumsy. She fall-ed agin, but didntz break mine steps dis time. She tripped over herz own wheelie chair. Paw-Paw helped her up agin.

My docfur visit was short. Meowmie left me fur a little while & went to herz own docfur - I bited herz on Christmousie Eve & her hand got infeckted. She gotz medcine to take, but now herz docfur said dat she needs to see a hand sir-gin to maybees cut it open & clean it out.

I's sorry meowmie - I just wanted to make mew let me go. She was trying to clean my behind from poopies, but I didntz want herz to. She did anyway, even with herz hand bleedin. Tell alla mewr meowmies & paw-paws to go to dere docfurs ifn mew bite dem. It not good fur dem to wait.

As fur my visit on Mew Years Eve - da docfur said to give me smaller doses of my shots. I guess I've lost so much weight that I dontz need as much stuff.

For now, I'm still eating. So no Bridge yet fur me! And meowmie has learned to be careful of me. I dontz know if she's gonna be as careful walking - MOL.

Much Eggsitement & My Docfur Visit

Meowmie is a clumsy hoomin. Much more than ofurs. Dis morning, she tripped ofur my steps & fall-ed on dem & broke dem! OMC, I was so furry upset! Bof fur meowmie & fur my steps!

Paw-Paw fix-ed my steps tho. Oh - & he helped meowmie get up (she too fat to get up on herz own, MOL). It all gud now.

I had anofur docfur visit last night & I did what I told my purr-pals I would do - I was wat da v*t called "a handful". It took 2 techs to hold onto me to get blood & pee out. And den I still was hard to handle. MOL! Dat showed dem!

Da v*t says I lost-ed sum more weight. And dat my blood is tew sweet agin, so meowmie hasta give me sticks agin. She tinks maybees dat why I's losing weight. Also, my pee is furry diluted. Da v*t tinks my kidneys is startin to shut down. Meowmie tinks it cuz I's drinking lots ob watfur becuz ob da dia-bee-tus.

Anyway, da v*t says I's still a strong kitteh, & a surprise to hims. I hafta go back on Mew Years Eve morning to get checked agin, maybees all day. I hopes not. Meowmie is takin dat day off to be wif me.

And, da v*t gave meowmie a furry lufferly compliment. He say she is doing a marvelous job fur me. He say not many peeps wud do what she is doing, dey just would haf sent me to da Bridge right away. Meowmie told hims dat she would not do that until I told herz I was ready by stopping eating. I likes my fud so much that when I do that, she will know it is time fur my ticket.

So efurry purr, I am still here, luffin meowmie. Now if she would just watch where she is walking & stop breakin my things, it'll be all gud.

Anofur Monf!

Here it is, anofur monf gone by. And I is still here! Da v*t bees shakin his head. He cantz beleef I still doin as good as I am. He keep saying it wontz be long & I keeps foolin him.

I luffs foolin v*ts. It is da bestest fun of all.

I haf been haffin up days lately. I's beggin fud - though not as much as I usta. But I still singin to meowmie sumtimes, just in a softer voice. I's a little wobblier, but still get to my dishes & litterbox. I efun come intew meowmie's room fur my milk snack at night.

It is a gud life, being luffed like this. I'm gonna hate to gif it up.

Diary ob Da Day! Agin!

Except fur da fact dat meowmie missed it - AGIN - I made Diary ob da Day. It makes me many happees dat da Catster peeps picked me. I's all puffed up wif happees.

I am still eating gud. I's getting just a little wobbly, but wif an extra treat now & then, I'm feeling as best as I can. I make meowmie know I'm not ready fur da bridge quite yet.

Many thanks to alla furriends dat sent me purrsents & concatulations! It is wonderpurr to know that mew all are there. I luffs mew all & I continue to be strong fur meowmie. We bof knows it will happen soon, but not until I says I's ready.

I Scared Meowmie

I've been furry sick & I scared her bad on Monday. I wouldn't eat much food & I groaned & grunted so bad she was afraid to go to werk. She cried & cried all day at werk, sure that she would haf to take mees to da whitecoats fur my trip to da Rainbow Bridge when she gotz home.

So, I decided to eat more Monday nite & den all day yesfurday. Meowmie had giff me an extra treat Tuesday mornin & it made me feel betfur. In fact, I felt good enuf to pick up mine mousie toy & sing to meowmie last night. Not as loud as I usta, but she was most happee to hear me do it at all.

Dis mornin, I ated mine breakfast (mostly) & was watchin meowmie get ready fur werk. So, I guess maybees my bad time is past agin, at least fur a little while. I'm haffin what meowmie calls up & down days. It makes me sad to see her so sad, so I is tryin hard to be mostly up.

Well, I gonna go back to my nap now. Meowmie will be home soon & I must be awake enuf to giff herz luffin & get mine special treat.

Hey! I am STILL HERE!

I'm grouchy wif meowmie. I was Diary ob da day on Septempurr 26, but meowmie didn't check owr e-mews & nefur saw until tewday. Grrrrr.... bad meowmie!

Meowmie say I cattinue tew surprise herz. I just not ready fur da bridge yet. I'm not sure who shud take ovur luffin meowmie. Should it bees Dusk or Desiree? Or efun Isis, but she is not as cuddly. I like da ideer of Clarisse as da new Alpha kitteh, but she is Paw-Paw's luffer kitteh, not meowmie's. I needs to make sure dat meowmie gets propurr luffin when I leefs.

Meentimez, I still eating & drinking. Still some gurgly, but da treats help a bit. Meowmie said da V werd, sumfing about going to get a test done next week. Oh, no - more pokies.

But she also say dat she gonna stay home somes starting Furday, so I will get to purr-gurgle fur her & sleep on da chair next to her, so I will be happy wif dat.

Time fur anofur nap & to cuddle wif my mousie!

I Still Here!

Yep - still here, on da Earth. Not at the Bridge yet - I'll wait awhile for dat.

Meowmie has increased my pill she says. What pill? All I get is treats!

(From Sandy - shhh... she doesn't know the pill is in the treat. Pill pockets - great product!)

What meowmie? What mew say? She smiling... hmmm, me thinks she's getting sneaky. Me thinks she's been around kitties tew much.

Any way, I get a little gurgly now & then, so meowmie got da OK from da docfur tew gif me more treats. They are special & yummy - no ofur kitty gets them. Oh, they get other treats, but that's so they dontz try to steal my special one.

I'm still singing my mousie song fur meowmie. Mew can now see me wif my new toy, singing my song on my page. Meowmie say she gotz her own new toy & soon she will haf a video so mew can all HEAR me sing tew. I luffs my new toy. I efun sleeps on top of it so Dusk can't steal it.

I am furry happy, though sumtimes sore. The arthur-i-tis & new-rop-a-thee seem to be fighting wif each other to see which one is gonna hurt more. But I still eat my food, drink my water, & use da box when I hafta, so it's all good. Meowmie sumtimes efun gifs me a little milk or sum of herz food too. She say she not gonna worry ifn its good fur me. She say it time a old kitty like me gets what I like, not what is healthy. I'm all about that.

So, I will just settle down now fur a nap & purr some, gurgly as that is. It's all about catitude, aftur all.
