Arrival Story: Indy, his siblings, and his mother showed up in the local Animal Shelter. Most of the kittens were sick and the breeders couldn't afford to care for them so they surrendered them over to the shelter. I had been somewhat thinking of maybe getting a kitten, and when I seen Indy my mind was set. I took him home at about 8-9 weeks old and he was just the greatest cat I've ever had the pleasure of caring for.
Bio: Indy was a Cream and White Turkish Van - so named because when he got playing he would run around the house in circles like he was running the Indy 500. Indy was an amazing friend, we seemed to understand eachother perfectly. He had a lilttle blue beaded necklace I had made or him with his name on it ...and he hated having that thing off. H would act all spastic when he didn't have it on - rather strange. I dearly miss Indy who left this world in July of 2004 at only 14 months of age. He was born with a heart condition and it just become too much for his little body. His memory will ive on with me forever!
