Arrival Story: Kitty was abused & abandoned by her previous owners and Survived outside for a few months before i found out, she was tormented and beaten by some kids *possibly the reason why shes not too fond of them* .. I learned about her history from another neighbour who wanted to take her in but was very allergic to cats & dogs. I had set food out for her and sure enough she came up and ate. I took her in that day (june 29th 05) she was a bit skeptical of me but allowed me to pet her and pick her up.. she was nervous about being inside the house and hid from any kind of noise (was very scared of the t.v.)the first 2 days we had her...slowly she warmed up and became more used of everything and was quick to claim certain places in our house.
she is a very happy and playful cat now

I watch all the others play and wonder what you would be doing if you were still here with us. Most likely knowing you Kitty you would probably be putting the kittens(who are now full grown) on the run and making sure everyone is in their place.
You would be biting my ankles, biting my hands and hiding the bags of treats.. Oh how we miss you..
Since that sad day in September when you passed away, I didn't think anything was going to get any better, if anything I thought it would get worse.but you had other plans for me didn't you?
Not even a month after you passed away we lost the house to bankruptcy, we didn't have hardly any money at all.. I was starting to wonder what was next, then I heard a distinct meow that could of only came from you, but I knew it could never be you because you had passed away. Still though I searched high and low and came across a photo of you when we first got you, so scared but so brave and trusting.
Moving on to a few years later and a few more cats,, I look back and see the precious gift you gave us and all that you taught us. You taught us how to have more patience and to take time to listen more too.. And for that you have helped save some more cats lives.
I miss you and always will love you
