Rescued from SF SPCA in 1995, she's the first cat and first pet in the family
Bio:
ShaoLin used to have an eating disorder that was life-threatening. She used to consume only dry food. Now she eats a mix of different organic raw meats and is thriving. This is thanks to our now retired vet, we are very greatful in SF to have had her guidance while she was our vet.
Shao Lin is really becoming with age, more frisky and lovable than ever. We love her!

Shao Lin here, and I'm at my new home in San Carlos while my people and dog went south to Mexico! I heard it was a long hot car ride and I don't like car rides. The heat may have been nice though, although I'm glad to be here. Now I have 2 boys to play with and a whole house mostly to myself, and I can sit on my uncle and auntie's lap when they are reading the paper or watching the tele. Life is good! I have to admit, sitting on the leather couch and looking out over the grounds is quite relaxing and I quite enjoy it. I am not a princess, but if the tiarra fits...(and does it ever!!!) Cheers!

If you noticed, I am really a tech cat, and sitting on just the right computer is just as good as a sunny window spot or astroturf in the garden...so I was so pleased when the new laptop arrived. The old pismo mac g3 was so wonderful - comfortable, durable, and usually available - that I could sit on it and keep my football shaped figure warm through many winters. I didn't know it would come to an end this last winter holiday, when it crashed. It just didn't get hot anymore... I guess sat on it one too many times, but really it did have a good long career. By the way, I don't just sit on computers, I usually type code, by setting the number lock on (F6 for you who know your keystrokes) and rename files. It's so much nicer with numbers, don't you think?

So, darlings,
the new Powerbook G4: it's hot. very warm to sit on. I like it, but its just the 12" and it's a little too small, but the heat makes up for it. Renaming files mysteriously has become easier than ever with the compact keys. Plus, when it is not so new anymore, my roomates won't notice me sitting on it as quickly. I'll follow up on that!
